Wet-in-Wet Watercolour Koi Fish (Jun-Pierre Shiozawa)

Just recently had a knee replacement surgery and didn't feel like spinning, which is my go-to art. I stumbled across some watercolors I purchased over 40 years ago, have been carrying around, and never used. This is my second painting now during the past week. Jun-Pierre, you have such an easy and straightforward teaching manner! I so enjoyed this video, and my results weren't too bad for a neophyte!

I"m using a sumi-e ink brush that I often use for painting watercolor as it holds a nice charge of water and can be shaped to a nice point as well. I'm also using Etchr brushes as well!

Could Tombow markers be used?

Yes! You can get some great washes by painting into Tombow markings.
