Wet shot is more violent when activated. Dry is a smoother and more liner power.

Yea and a stand-alone fuel management system. Not a bad way to spend $10,000

See that sh*t? He's got enough NOS in there to blow himself up, PeRiOd.

He's lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds off the intake.

What controls a shot? I understand it’s an amount of no2 going through the fogger… but what/how is it controlled? A relay?
@yeanah25712 жыл бұрын
Solenoid pulls from the bottle, and the jet/port you install before the nozzle is calculated based on HP being added.
@Turtlefarm2 жыл бұрын
@@yeanah2571 So the size of the orifice in the jet is what dictates the shot size? I’ve been told you need to tune wet nos but dry you can run without a tune? I’d sooner have my ecu tuned for it… I wonder if that is related to Carbureted engines ( the not needing a tune)
@yeanah25712 жыл бұрын
@@Turtlefarm Both need tuning. Wet kits seem to be safer, and add fuel themselves, making them a standalone system. Dry kits definitely have to be tuned for, which affects drivability all the time, and at some point, will exceed the stock fuel system. That being said, I'm not an expert, just trying to research how long I can have 100 shot in my Crown Vic before I blow it up.

@@yeanah2571 lol nice. I’m trying to get my g35 to 400 wheel horsepower. I’m already at 340 with my mods. Thinking a 75 shot would be safe but I gotta see if my tuner can tune with nos. I think I’m going wet, but still Wana tune for a smoother power band and hopefully not risk damaging anything.

In other words go for a wet system if you don't like EFI lol

All modern cars use EFI. So why not use wet system for aditional power?
