Man, I miss my sonics. I used to wear 40 as a kid because of him and I was a point guard but I just loved Kemp's style on the court. Payton to Kemp was one of the best duo's ever.

The Sonics of the 90's was the most exciting team I have ever seen. If it wasn't for them the nba wouldn't have the flavor it has today. Kemp was the best in game dunker of all time. I miss the Sonics.

Kemp is my favorite player to watch in NBA history- he was just so fun to watch growing up. GP and Kemp were so much fun, it's a shame to see that Kemp had a lot of problem off the court. This is the best Kemp mix on the internet- really awesome. The Reighnman!!!!

Shawn will always be one of the most explosive post presences to ever ball. Period. Haters can talk all they want - but Blake Griffin is as close as basketball has got to that since Kemp. Close... but still, he's not Kemp. If you grew up around the 253 & 206, you got to watch The Kid, Tez and Reign Man play - all year long. Championships are everything, and a good looser is still a looser - but there was never a shortage of highlights in Seattle back then.

Lebron wish he can do half the stuff Shawn Kemp could, both being of the similar big body type. Kemp was just a beast of a player that no one had seen on the court yet at his size, strength, and mobility....... being able to do what he did during his prime years.

+shifterkart1 You sound stupid. Lebron did the same stuff before he hit his prime. Plus Lebron weighs more than kemp and has a higher vertical than him and he's faster. So get your facts before you try to hate on a player and I might add that Lebron is a better defender than kemp and he's always compared to Scottie Pippen because of their versatility on defense. No doubt Shawn Kemp is the man and will always be the man but he's not in the same category with Lebron. The only thing similar they have which you pointed out is there body types and the way they move that's it.

Da Rain Man was a complete beast. He had a nice all around game for a 6'10 power foward. He had the "Dream Shake", decent ball handling skills, A nice mid-range jumper, and his defense was OUTSTANDING, to say the least. If u looked at most of his basketball cards back in the day, he was usually POSTER-RIZIN somebody. Even the greats Air Jordan, The Human Highlight Reel, Doc J, and Chocolate Thunder, all admitted to his talents were amazing.

One of the most gifted players I've seen, but many current fans don't know about him. In the first 1/2 of his career he was an absolute nightmare on fast breaks (+posting up/defense/an awkward, but effective jump shot). Anyway, he signed a huge contract (at the time), just B4 NBA contracts started getting crazy. Later, crappy teammate ended up making more $ and he got all passive aggressive. Rumors of alcohol abuse followed. Got fat/lazy/traded. Also, I heard he had like 17 kids with 23 moms.
