Thank you for acknowledging these uneasy feelings. For the most part I listen to them, as they are a bit of a survival instinct that keeps me safe. But I know that, to improve, I need to push through them to an extent. Because when you're down there those fears go away.

Thanks for addressing this. I dive in the South Island and dirty water is almost the norm. It takes me a bit to overcome my fear of what’s below but as you say once you’re on the bottom it isn’t too bad.

Awesome vid. Few nice deep breaths goes a long way for relaxing the body too!

Another top video! I love how you practice sustainability, I don't know if I'd be able to pass up on a kingy 😅 Roughly how deep were you diving in this video/

can you catch boar fish with hook rod
@WettieNZ3 жыл бұрын
Pretty rare but have heard of a few people catching them with soft baits, most likely by mistake as they feed on worms in the sand.

I noticed on your flopper u have a little rubber band. Does it slip off as u shoot the fish? Or do u just remove it before using the gun
@WettieNZ3 жыл бұрын
Our flopper rings come off by either the water pressure during the shafts flight or when passing through the fish. Never a problem of it staying on. This helps with accuracy.

Can you do a video on how to deal with sharks?????
@gregorythompson65212 жыл бұрын
Done it 300 times in dirty water, scared shitless until i see the Mulloway,, But anyway after 2 shark attacks my worst fears come true,,,, thats it for me, with Great Whites in vast numbers now, Australian east coast population of 8000 plus Whites i cant help but think about ALL the EXTREEMLY lucky dives i had .
