I Support Hegseth I feel his point is, during combat we need the right person doing the job to it's fullest. Say while under attack we have a position filled by a person whom cannot load the cannon in the time required before incoming Fire Hits the Platoon. How would that make the person feel if they were the only one left alive that couldn't perform quick enough or lift enough to load the cannon to protect their platoon. We know those teams are very close to eachother, making the situation even more traumatic. Example I had to let a lot of people go during my roofing business years because some just couldn't do the job. I will say I've had one female worker that could do the job but she was the only female to inquire on the job
