For some reason, a few years back, sports radio hosts got the idea in their heads that a sports talk radio show has to include these BORING interviews with "sportswriters" from different cities or from Yahoo Sports or whatever. They'll put up to 4 of these interviews a day on their shows. Nothing could possibly suck more ass. Sports talk radio should be about the host giving his prepared opinions and taking phone calls, maybe bring on an actual player or coach for an interview. However, "interviews" with sports writers are dogshit.

Of course he fell asleep, in case anyone’s not 100% sure. The clincher is the way he suddenly jumps up all bulgy eyed after Myrtis randomly says “Mike”. If you’ve ever been super tired during the middle of the day and zone out and eventually start to drift out of consciousness, you’re in sort of a lucid sleep and easily woken since I guess subconsciously your brain knows it shouldn’t be sleeping because you’re at work. Love the way he hits the “cough” button so he can get his bearings by asking the producer something off mic. Can’t tell what he says but it was probably along the lines of “What the fuck is going on. Where am I?”
