Consider getting rid of the wire nuts and getting a couple bus bars, that are the covered type. Also when wiring using 6 gauge, consider 4 gauge and use welding type stranded wire instead of the grade of wire bought I think you said Autozone. If you still have issues, consider using a Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 12-Volt 30 amp 120VAC, Single Output Battery Charger NEMA 5-15, Bluetooth give you the ability to program for a rebulk mode, and does allow you to better setup for lithium. I would not buy another WFCO product, no sure what the price difference is.

I learned from another youtube video that WFCO doesn't tell you this, but you need to drain your LiPo4 battery before the converter can see it as a LiPo4.

@Camperman1951 I took it down to 37%. Yes, I have heard this too. I am not going to take it down all the way, no way. Thanks for watching

What’s the voltage? I can’t get mine to charge the 14.4-.6 which is to properly
@toyhaulen29 күн бұрын
I am now getting 14.6 volts after installing the jumper. You might have a defective converter.

I saw my comment about the charging voltage and this subject. My video is on this very subject. Check it out. I have the jumper on my WFCO 8955AD converter. It will not fully charge my 3 - group 24 LiTime batteries. This converter is a waste of money. I am getting full amperage from 8955AD but not the 14.4-14.6 voltage.

@RobertMiller-kw7ek I have not had the chance to fully test it yet. I have a trip in a few weeks and will try it out. I was able to get full charge even in L.A. mode. I'm assuming as the amps come down, the voltage will increase to 14.6. I wish it was just a switch.
