Just wanted to say I appreciate the videos you’re doing. Can you tell me about how long you found yourself having to study each day? I’m looking at a total career change and originally graduated in the early 2000’s. Going back to school with a full time job and kids looks pretty daunting.

Hi! Nice vid btw! I appreciate your experiences and input on being as a student in WGU. However what do you think about WGU for students that just graduate from high school? I've been hearing that people just don't recommend it at all because you NEED work expierence (based off the degree you apply to) to get through these courses. I'm planning on applying for a BA cyber security degree, however hearing that people just don't reccomend applying to this school without work expierence is kind of demotivating me to attend. I would really appreciate it if I got input on this, and it would help me be more comfortable on deciding on other options besides WGU. Thanks!!

Sorry for the late reply just now figuring this whole thing out. ucertify is just a 3rd party company that provides educational material. The rest are better questions for your program mentor. If it's Carly Wood tell her I said hi!

Both but in my opinion the video lessons aren’t worth your time. KZbin is best to clarify topics you do not understand.

Are the costs of the comptia exams extra or are they included in the tuition?
@Kngdmio3 жыл бұрын
They are included in tuition! You get 2 chances(vouchers) paid for by WGU - and if you fail those, then you come out of pocket.

I have a question. You said you don't have a tech background, but in the second video you said you have an Associates in IT. So which is it?
@DamienRiven3 жыл бұрын
To get accepted into the school you either need experience, an IT cert or associates. By a tech background I assume he means he doesn't have a work background in IT.

RandomApperatus lol i guess the grass is always greener...I was going to do the cybersecurity program but i thought as a newbie I should start with network degree and later on doing the cyber degree. By that point it wont be that many courses to complete
@randomapperatus37734 жыл бұрын
edgar reyes honestly if you are going to do the networking degree no need for a cyber security degree. You can go straight for it sec job or transition from a networking position. I should do a KZbin live FAQ

RandomApperatus that is very true 💪 but yeah hopefully I can find some kind of job after completing a+, n+, and s+ to gain some experience while finishing school.
