I also saw that for the MBA in IT management you can transfer in the CAPM for the Project Management class. I'm thinking I'll pregame by getting that cert (work pays for certs) and then applying and transferring it in.

Hey Cameron I just wanted to say thank you I found your channel and the information you provide is amazing, so thank you! Quick question I watch your videos from last year where you transferred in classes from Sophia, how many did you transfer in? I thought you said 11 but confirmed you can transfer in 16 classes as of dec14 and then I saw another video where you said you transferred in 70% of your classes because if you transferred in over 75% you couldn’t sign up for the degree, so long question short, how many classes did you transfer in to make you only have to take 10 classes at wgu. Thanks again.

My transfers came from 3 different places. 10 classes were satisfied by transferring credit from Sophia (I planned on transferring 11, but I quit one of the courses without finishing it), 5 from Study.com, and 9 from IT certifications that I already had. That was a total of 86/122 (70.49%) credits or 24 courses that was transferred.

@@CameronEvolved thank you for your response, last question is which certs did you transfer in? And would you recommend I focus on getting the certs prior. I’m scheduled to take the net + in about a week, I already studied for the A+ (1&2) and sec+ I just haven’t bought the vouchers for those yet, but I fee if I take the certs that’ll help get into the it field along with shorten my overall time I’d have to be enrolled at wgu , which certs did you transfer in?

Hey Cameron Evolved, thanks for the awesome and informative videos. Im applying to M.S. in cybersecurity at WGU, do you think its worth it? Im thinking about using it to join the military or even just to get an entry level civilian job. I have no experience. do you think its worth it?

Hey Cameron. Do you recommend a Masters in Cyber Security or MBA IT for the Federal Govt sector? (I already have a Bachelors in IT Management) Thanks.

I'm questioning if i can go to WGU do to the fact that I don't have a car because I don't know if it is 100% online. Did you have to go to any testing centers or stuff like that. (I am talking about the Cybersecurity course.)
@CameronEvolved7 ай бұрын
99% online. If I remember correctly, that degree has at least one certification from a company called ISC2 and ISC2 requires all of their certification exams to be taken at a testing center.

Zorin OS for the win

I use Linux most of the time. I only switch to Windows when I'm taking an exam.

@@DylanRotich Occasionally I'll spend a few weeks at a time testing other Linux distros, but Zorin is what I use daily on my main computer.

I broke my Zorin installation when I was trying to uninstall python (terrible idea i should have tried to upgrade it a different way). I haven't been able to fix my dual boot setup for a few weeks now :(@@CameronEvolved

@@CameronEvolvedI used to main Linux, but then I started gaming a lot and Linux isn't as good for that. It's A LOT better than it was 15 years ago though!
