Good video exactly what is wrong with my pump except that mine was running constantly and finally packed up bought a cheep pump to test proved was running all the time so I have to buy a new pump and the socket too to get it working properly thanks for posting the info about the socket put me on the right track good work subscribed 👍

Good video. If it was a non return valve issue buy a whale service kit ak8834. This contains all o rings and two non return valves. Videos from Whale on how to change the nr valve are on KZbin. This repair can be done outside the van.

Looking from the outside. There are four screws holding the blue plate on. Unscrew carefully as there is a spring the width of your finger. Remember the order it comes off. Take long nose pliers and remove the black rubber none return part out. Gently reassemble taking care the rubber sits flush inside its housing. Order a Whale Water Master Service Kit - Black. Save a fortune and less work.
