Obscure fact: at the beginning of this George Michael was wearing a brooch he had borrowed from his sister. It fell off halfway through, and was picked up by a girl in the audience. George and Andrew left the stage before she was able to give it back. Later she spoke to George during a phone-in on a tv programme and told him she had the brooch. He told her she could keep it and he’d buy his sister another one! I wonder if the lucky woman still has it.

Does anyone get actually sad when you watch these performances just thinking that this amazing beautiful man inside and OUTSIDE is no longer here. No matter if he was just enjoying life not writing or recording just knowing he was here was amazing bc you could hope he would release more incredible music. But knowing that will no longer happen my child will Grow up without hearing anything new but you better believe he knows at 5 years old WHAM and George Michael! Hearing him sing to all the great songs makes my heart melt. I just hate thinking that he was taken from us too soon! I remember that day where I was how I reacted and still makes me so sad knowing he is no longer here. I pray he was not selfishly “taken” from us by “someone” who I won’t name and it was the Lord calling his angel home and needed to fill a place in his heavenly choir. Everything surrounding his death the day before the day of and the days and months after and still years later regarding someone just haunts me to my core. He was so loved but to have died alone makes me sick! Anyways I am sorry I just said all this but as much as I adore his music and listen to it daily I wish I could be happy but I just can’t. It makes me so incredibly sad!
