@@ramanpreciado2241 what r u talking about when u r saying they charged people who didn't buy drugs nor have almost nothing to do with them? Everyone they charged was dirty, and they knew what the hell they were doing to these horses. They had a whole scheme going on to dope horses in the US and across seas. Each one that was charged needs to be in jail and stay in jail for what they did. They were all dirty, and I bet u there r more people involved in the scheme that didn't get charged. It's funny how far money, power, and status gets u. Dirty people everywhere being greedy. U should do the research on this case to know what it's about actually.

That and the fact that they are so young and being pushed so hard. I don't know if you have horse experience, but a normal age to begin training and riding a horse that isn't being pushed to meet an age deadline for a race or for showing is 3-5 years old, although there are many people still under the false belief that if a horse doesn't begin its training at the age of 2, 3 at the very latest, it somehow magically becomes un-trainable, wild or very hard to train. Horses do not stop physically maturing until approximately 5½ to 6 years old, some breeds being even a little older. As a trainer myself, I personally will not begin training a horse until they are 5 years old. I've trained horses to ride that were in their late teens, they are really no more difficult to train than any other age of horse, they all have their own personality and quirks, those are the factors that make a horse easier or "harder" to train to ride. For whatever reason, it has been determined by people that if a horse is not in a show ring or racing as a 2 year old onward that it is something to frown on, the trainer must be bad or lazy, the horse must not be as good, why did it take so long to get them ready to show or race? A horse that doesn't start showing or racing until they are 6 years old or older for most types of show/riding disciplines or racing is not worth as much money, not as profitable and not as notable to give the trainer/owner the name and prestige they are after, or the money, due to this type of belief, or stereotype if you will. The jockey club (the association that registers Thoroughbreds to make them eligible for racing) counts all horses as turning a year older on January 1st, regardless of the horse's actual birthdate. Breeders always try to make sure their foals are born as close to that as possible, but basically if a foal is born December 1st, it is already counted as being a 1 year old on January 1st, even though it's only a month old. Racing age begins at 2, and the horses need time to be trained to carry a rider and understand very basic control so that the rider can slow them down, speed them up, and (somewhat) turn them or direct them where to go. Then they need time to begin getting used to the track, building muscle and getting faster. In order to have the time to achieve these things and start racing at 2, racehorses begin training, carrying a rider and running on the track, at the age of 18 months old. It's really no wonder why such a physically underdeveloped horse being required to run as fast as possible then snaps their leg or has other very severe injuries to the joints, legs and/or hooves. And it's all for the sake of some person becoming famous and being recognized, all for the attention they will receive and all for the people who pay to be entertained by it all.

Sadly racing has become more a business than true horse lovers. Once owners cherished their horses. Respected them. Money has become god. And screw the well being of these noble trusting horses. Being in the inner circle of horses Ive seen abuse in all disciplines For the real horse lover, its sickening. Ive reported incidents. Everyone should. Hold these cruel people responsible

@@Regal.pup. "some" sorry I think u mean all basically. There r a select few who treat horses right and that's putting it nicely. Most r dirty and don't know how to play the sport right. These sports r being run by money, power, greed, and status. They don't care about the horses they just care about their profits and gains. If the horse doesn't win anything they sell them to slaughter. If the horse isn't making money they sell them to slaughter. If the horse isn't doing good in breeding, and making money in that they get sold to slaughter. If horses aren't benefiting the people, people sell them and throw them away like garbage. Horses don't have a voice to speak out on all the shit that happens to them. U would be amazed what goes on behind closed doors. U see enough just out in the open, so u can only imagine what happens behind closed doors. These animals deserve better.
