This is my estimate : 4200 sq feet land = $500,000 (assuming $120 per square foot) + 2800 sq feet main house (3 story) which I'll design by my own = $500,000 (assuming $180 per square foot) + Swimming pool (600 square feet) = $80,000 And adding all of them will cost near $1million ($999,999 to $1.2 million) =》4200 sq feet (land area) would be occupied by these = 2800 (main house) + 600 (swimming pool) + 700 (garden) + 100 Will I be able to get this all from $999,999 to $1.2 million? And please tell that where, in Chicago, I can get land under $120 square foot.

I would answer the questions but this house ended up selling for 1.7 Million and cost the builder just under 1.6 Million to build. The cost to build something these days has significantly increased so I fear it may cost more to build then you expect. We can however find land cheaper to make up the difference. That is a very difficult question to answer directly because of all the different types of buyers. I’m seeing a lot of families moving out to the suburbs because its significantly cheaper on all accounts. However, a huge majority of young people are looking to move to the city any means necessary.
