If you are still in Cairo - you should absolutely go to Imbaba and have dinner at the "Prince of Liver"! Don't worry, they serve much more than just liver, it's just the name, aka just "the Prince". Hands down one of the best restaurants in Cairo! I've lived in Cairo for about 6 months and loved the place. Best enjoyed when it's dark outside ;-) Edit: IF the restaurant is still open. Looks like it's closed on google...that'd be such a shame! Other than that: have Koshari at Abou Tarek in Downtown Cairo - that's an experience as well and absolutely delicious :)
