I'm almost okay with Violet dying if he saved her instead but that would mean Louis' tongue would be cut out and that bothers me way too much but I'd like Louis alive mainly for shipping purposes but overall it's slightly not 100 percent natural to me either for some reason and in the other scenario seemed like he was also fully okay with dying to save Tenn. I just wish it was all four of them with his tongue still intact, they could've been a proper family with AJ still having a friend

Glad you guys enjoyed this beautiful game and series as a whole. I grew up on it when I first discovered season 1 back in 2012 when I was just 11 years old. I remember growing up constantly checking the wikia during season 2's development as they released episodes, buying a ps4 and playing season 3 and finally watching season 4 in my senior year of high school. It's definitely been a longggg journey. Happy to see her story concluded and knowing she's finally at peace after many trials and tribulations Clem's faced.

lmao, when clem showed up with out a leg, everyone was saying “this doesn’t make sense” “massive plot armor”. If you think abt it, it makes total sense. She was pale from losing a lot of blood, her leg was dead therefore preventing the bite from spreading. aj cut off her leg, he probably took some cloth from a walker and the rope that he cut off to stop the bleeding and then he somehow got out of there. Maybe with the wheelbarrow. AJ cut the leg off at the perfect time, it had been only 5-10 minutes since she got bit. Unlike Lee, it had been almost 2 hours since he got bit, the bite already spread, and it was too late. (using TWD logic btw lol) TWD isn’t inconsistent, it’s just that nobody takes the time to break it down. not saying you need to, but still :) *edit: or, maybe i’m completely wrong and it’s just video game magic💀*

Also, Lily and Marlon were different cases, Lily had a whole ass KNIFE at her disposal and she only said she didn't want to die to save her skin Marlon was actually remorseful. I don't blame yall (or anyone) for being annoyed James died, walking in front of an enemy (whether you think they're a threat or not) is stupid as hell, that was entirely James's fault not Clem. Also, forget whether you like Tenn more than Louis/Violet but survival wise having Louis live is smarter. Think about it, with Tenn alive we have to start from scratch and teach him the basics on how to survive/defend yourself, AND deal with his future fuckups which puts everyone in danger (and sometimes all the time and energy you put into training someone doesn't help in the long run). Blowing up the boat doesnt guarantee the raiders will never come back, if anything it could've given them MORE incentive to come and take/kill them all, and trying to train Tenn while dealing with all that is dangerous for everyone. With Ben in season 1, the people who drooped him at the bell tower know what i mean. If you're a liability then not having you around makes everyone else safer. I personally would love if both Louis/Violet and Tenn could survive but that's not an option. Again, i really like Tenn and I agree AJ shooting him is difficult but it's a good lesson he has to learn at some point, not everyone can be saved and making the hard calls for the betterment of the group will never be easy. Also, how exactly do you think AJ shooting Tenn will affect him? If anything it'll teach him that Clem was right and killing should never be talked about/treated carelessly (like he did with Abel in ep 2 with the rock, paper, scissors). Im not saying its something he HAS to learn right then, but it's a possible silver lining in that whole clusterfuck of a disaster :(

Clem not only had the bite but a giant slash on her lower leg. She was probably suffering from major blood loss since she had to hobble *and* climb with this wound which didn't help matters at all. That's the best explanation as to why it wasn't too late to chop it off. She wasn't gonna die from the bite, but from blood loss.

I saw some comments about their reaction to the ending being lackluster. I do agree with that but to be fair to these guys, they did sit and gorge themselves on all the seasons in one sitting. So I can understand that they were not as invested emotionally into the series the way we were when we played. They have the luxury of having all 4 seasons available to them and not going through the 6 year grind of getting an episode with a bomb azz cliffhanger and having to wait 2 months for the next one, or replaying a season a dozen times to get different results, or being scared to death that telltale wouldn't finish the game because they were going out of business. This series is special to us because we grew up with this game so it hits different for us than it does for them so I don't blame them for their reaction at all. Naturally it's going to be more significant to the ones that lived it. When I see season 1 I remember that summer in my room in Queens playing this game with those cheap azz glow in the dark moon and stars stickers on my ceiling and hearing trains go by lol. Was good times man :).

I feel that season didn't even need to happen, instead of continuing where S2 left off with it's multiple endings, it just focused on a completely new group nobody asked for instead of Clementine. Telltale just decided to be cheap and use flashbacks to show what happened to Clem after S2, the flashbacks weren't even very well written. Imo S1 had the best story and characters, S2 was close but it kinda fell off after E3, S3 wasn't bad but it still wasn't very good, S4 was an improvement but not by much.

I know this was a long time ago but god damn... Please stick to the reactions 😂 BTW the reason why Clem survived the limb being chopped off was because she had an open wound above the bite which slowed down the spread of the infection. Lee didn't survive because they had waited too long to chop his arm off and Sarita died from blood loss since they didn't tend to her arm after. Also she panicked and went into shock which might have been the main factor in getting her killed. And don't forget both Lee and Sarita chopped off their arms which have lots of important veins so that also could've contributed to why it didn't work for them.

Just so y'all know, the bite takes full affect in 2 days at most. Clem was only bitten for about 30 to 60 minutes when he chopped her leg off. Lee was already a whole day into the infection when they finally thought of it. It's not like their making up the rules as they go, they just aren't great at showing how much time is passing. Also everyone everywhere says shooting Lilly was the best choice but that was almost 50 50 so I don't know why only that half of people are so pissed at a choice you guys made. I really don't think dealing with James after killing Lily is worth it.

The thing with Clem surviving is that She got bitten in her leg that is SPLIT OPEN so whatever virus or shit that is inside those bites couldn't spread to the body through blood because it just left the body through bleeding and thus either saving Clem or at the very least slowing down the process enough for Clem to survive by getting her leg cut. And also Lee stayed bitten way longer than Clem, I know It is still plot convinience but there is still an explanation for it and I am satisfied with it since CLEM is alive and that is all that matters to me

in case you guys were curious, here are a few major things that would have happened if you went down a different path and few opinions here and there on certain characters. if you saved violet instead of louis, he would have gotten his tongue cut off by thr soldiers. that path is really heartbreaking to be honest, since he really enjoyed singing and talking. it's strange because louis was happy to see clem when she gets stuck in the cell with him, despite missing his tongue because of her decision. whereas violet was cold to clem when she was left unscathed. i like violet, she was loyal and had our back in the beginning, but she became flip floppy near the end which is a shame. maybe it was because of her blunt personality, but it was something a lot of people talked about when the season first released. also, I wish they did James' character better in explaining why he had such a strange outlook on the apocalypse and not make him look like some weirdo. everything he believed stemmed from the guilt of being so violent in the past. I think he saw himself in AJ, and did not want him to go down that same path he did. i assume the philosophy he developed was something he was using to atone for his past actions, and just him trying to be more empathetic-- obviously it was not realistic though. i can understand some points in his reasoning, but if there still was part of you inside of those walkers, wouldn't it be better to be killed off then left to watch yourself wander lifelessly and be in no control of your blood thirsty body? as for his violence standpoint-- it's not good to be trigger happy and violent, but there are situations where you are forced to do so. AJ was reaching a point where if you did let him kill lily, he would say that he 'liked it' which is NOT what we want for this kid. we want him to be a fighter, not a murderer. theres a great scene if you killed lily, where clem and james fight/argue about AJ. the dialogue for that scene is one of my favorites, and if you make the right choices, james risks his life for you. he pulls out a pair of blades and fights out thr ward whike you escape the cave. i wish we saw this james earlier in the game. this season does a good job in showing that not everyone can hold onto their humanity in these type of situations. things get complicated and you are forced to do things you dont want because of bad people. good gameplay. your path isn't the typical one, but that doesn't make it bad. thats the point of the game.

@@nashscheber2696 personally season 1 is my favourite. the main reason is..we had sort of a family in season 1, a real family group of sorts that we kept moving with. the season 2 group was just drama and I couldn't feel close to anyone. (it was still good though storywise), season 3 felt awkward because it felt like it was a completely different game due to us starting over again basically so I keep forgetting it exists. (+ I honestly didn't like a lot of characters and the ones I found ok died regardless of decisions made). And season 4 is my least favourite tbh.. Ajs temper got on my nerves as much as his moms back in season 2, the drama with the other kids got on my nerves and that no matter no hard you tried every decision felt bad in some way. especially the shoot lilly one... first I was against it and unhappy that James died ..so I went for it, then was unhappy with how he reacted and how fucked up he treats us after. neither felt satisfying. so yeah.. in the end it all comes down to taste in terms of a favourite one .. cause none was really bad

I think the reason why Clem didnt turn was because her leg got busted by Minni. Why is it that you have to cut your limbs off immediately after you get bitten? Most likely because the pathogen, which is in the mouth, enters the venes and via your blood stream is transported to all organs in your body. But Clem's venes got sliced up by Minni. So the blood was spilling and leaving her body. Thats also why she looked so terrible. Cutting off the leg was still the right thing though.

overall, your playthrough was entertaining and i enjoyed watching :)! as for clem surviving, it helped that she was already wounded where the bite was and it was bleeding heavily. since she was losing blood, it would make it harder for the infection from the bite to spread to the rest of her body. the blood loss would also explain how she got so pale. also, clem wasnt physically active for the whole day like lee was when he got bit and was looking for clementine. tbh i dont mind that it seems convoluted, clem living >>>>>>> clem dying any day

The Marlon and lily comparison isn't really valid Marlon was lowering his gun so he wasn't a threat and was guilt-ridden, Lilly, on the other hand, had no guilt whatsoever and she was still a threat, she had a knife on her, and had nothing to lose. She was also more concerned about her living than her actions, unlike Marlon. so in my opinion, killing lily was more than justified if we're talking from a moral standpoint. An untrustworthy person, with a weapon, with nothing to lose, I see 3 reasons already to end her. But if we include Aj's innocence and conscience, yea I can understand not killing her.

To explain wyhy some choices would have been better (so I'm not criticizing, but just trying to prove a point) It was right to shoot Lily because she still was a threat Roshi, she was in a fight with Clem and wanted to kill her, and if it wasn't for Aj she would have finished her. She was lying when she told Aj that it was over and that she wouldn't have done anything to hurt them anymore, you could see it in her eyes. People can admit it or not, like it or not, but Marlon was honest when he said that he would have stopped and that he would have listened to Clem, because he may have been an asshole for giving Minnie and Sophie away, but it was purely out of cowardice, not evilness...he knew he messed up pretty bad and was ready to surrender himself to his friends, but Lily is pure evil, kidnapping children to use them, torture them, brainwahing them and also killing them. One other big difference is that Aj shouldn't have done that to Marlon because he let go of his gun and it wasn't Aj's responsibility anymore, Clem was safe and Marlon had the other kids surrounding him in case something would have happened. With Lily it was different and affected Aj personally, since it was Clem's call that would have made him shoot her, plus she still had a knife in her leg that she could have used to hurt someone... Clem was in danger, Lily killed Carley without no reason and got so many other people killed, she was the leader of a community who steals children, we know what she is capable of and she deserved to die by Aj/Clem's hands. For the Tenn/Louis thing, the little one didn't deserve to die, but at the same time Aj would have done the right thing shooting him, because he was getting someone else(Louis), who didn't deserve it neither, killed. He wanted to reach out for Minnie and Louis wanted to stop him and save him. I love Tenn with all my heart, but I still would have trusted Aj to make the hard calls. This is what I think, but I had fun anyway watching the stream (Sheera was savage😂).

I kind of love the way Minerva dies, slowly and gradually losing insane after each serious injury and walker bite, on this committed kamikaze warpath to take down Clementine. I only wish that we saw her more visibly bloody or covered in Walker guts at the end scene because that’s the only way it should make sense that she can walk toward Clementine with the surrounding walkers just avoiding her.
