I am learning so much from your channel. Brings me back to my childhood learning gardening and green house growing. I was the third girl out of four so I didn’t learn as much as my older sisters. Get big trash cans with lids to dump the garden/potting soil in. It gets rid of several bags plus keeps insects and little creepy crawlies out.

Hi Lynne! Yes, most of the lettuce greens (especially kale) will survive the winter in the greenhouse and other cold-hardy plants like radishes, rosemary, lavender, snapdragons, parsley, carrots, etc. will do well too. It's just lovely to go in the greenhouse when everything is dead through the winter and see the pots full of beautiful green plants! :)

My mother always keeps an eye out at Walmart when the spring season is over a lot of the potting mix bags go down to $1. She stores them in the shed and come spring she makes very beautiful potted flower arrangements.

Love it - you all worked so hard - reminds me of my grandads greenhouse - the only thing missing is a compost sack with new potatoes for Christmas day - maybe you can try growing some next year. It was amazing trooping down to the greenhouse Christmas morning to get the potatoes for lunch

Def need a few tables prefer different levels back higher then next shelf to get plants up off ground/floor. Better organization and easier to care for amongst other things. Able to sweep periodically and won’t have to bend over to water

Hi Florence! It got down to 26 degrees (Fahrenheit) last night and the greenhouse was in the 60s this morning! It won't stay that warm all winter long, but it does a pretty good job! :)

You need some racks/shelves to put your plant seedlings up on. I worked at a Herb Farm for years and you always had to be cleaning up and keeping it organized. We put the sides up and removed shade cloth back and forth during hot/cold weather. Enjoy getting it organized. Blessings to you all

invest in diatomaceous earth helps with unwanted bugs or perhaps buy lady buys and praying mantis and in summer dont kill yellow jackets they eat the green worms on brassica plants laid by white moths and man can they decimate those worms fast ! love the green house !
