@@a.pieceofpie The guy's name is Rick Barker. He mentions to check out "How to Become A Social Media Ninja In Under An Hour" and this is JUST MY OPINION: Unless Gary V arranged for him to sneak in his product like that, it's pretty cheesy and deceiving (Very noticeable) when someone hijacks your "value interview" (what I call it) to advertise a product they're selling for $275 (or two payments of $150)..... Again, I apologize if Gary V did indeed suggest for him to do this and I know I wasted 5 minutes to type this.... but if I'm wrong: CMON MAN!!!. CMON RICK BARKER!!! GIVE to GET... If you're going to piggyback onto Gary V's audience, at least do it the right way.!! IN MY OPINION - When you are given a chance and people trust you for a split second just because you're talking to Gary V, you probably should NOT be so quick to send them to a link that is asking them for $275 or 2 payments of $150.... BEFORE any even sees any value they see (for the most part) a deceiving hand sticking out asking for $$$ and automatically are put in a "resisting" stage of mind because you never gave any value... Why should anyone trust you RICK BARKER?? This will just piss people off when they trust you for that one time... What makes you special? Why should we trust you? What have you done for me so I can put my time into you?? Why should I even consider doing business with you if you have the potential of trying to piggyback on MY customers???????? I hope I big brother slapped you in place so you can rethink your hijacking strategy next time. It's too easy... EXAMPLE OF VALUE: "Gary I'd just like to say I'm really excited to let you know I put together a special gary v promo, basically giving a free social media roadmap to the first 10 people that come through this interview on your blog. I'm humbled to be on your blog in first place so this is my way of giving back"...... I bet you saying something along those lines would have gotten you much further.... Think of it like taking a girl out that you're into. You don't just go "Hey, nice to meet you! Let's go get it on in my bed now!".... That would potentially get you 5 fingers to the face... Instead you get to know her, things about her... what she likes, what bothers her... how you two relate to the same topics you like and dislike... you let her know who you are.. you put yourself in vulnerable state while she's getting to know you and by doing that she knows what you're doing and why you're doing it.. so she allows herself to lower her guard and trust you back.... Then before you know it ... well, you know the rest....And this doesn't mean I'm suggesting anyone go be manipulative/deceptive and make people feel sorry for you or something but.... just but be real. Appreciate your situation and ask yourself in every scenario: "What are the consequences of how I am going to handle this?".... Maybe that'll have you make better decisions. My example is if I want to give value to receive opportunity, I look at 3 things: #1) What problem is the person having? #2) How does that problem give me pain? #3) What is the solution? ..Then I'll work on a marketing strategy like: "Is all that dog hair worth it???"...... I love my dog to death but all that damn hair on her makes me want to kick her out of the house at times... People can relate to that, or people might relate to it in that their cars get hairy, or they get embarrassed when they take their dog in public, etc... SO now the consumer and I can relate on what we consider a problem... then I can talk about how my dog was abused her first year and half of life... and put on a long leash with 1 bowl of dog food a day by some piece of shit owner.... this is all TRUE and it would piss people off when they think about their dog in that situation..... then they understand me a little better... maybe they'll see why I love my dog so much, how she always has my back or listens very well.... now they trust me at the point.... that's where I speak of my solution of how I deal with it.... Maybe a product I design myself... maybe I'm an affiliate marketer with a dog shampoo / conditioner deshedding solution and talk about how this solution helps not only reduce shedding dramatically, but also gets my dog smelling really really good to where I just want to keep hugging her tightly! I talk about how I only spend 10 minutes a day to brush her and it's first thing in the morning so it feels like an immediate WIN at the beginning of my day.... That with the Shampoo's and I have a happy pooch.... You'd be surprised some of the stuff I just mentioned might be no brainers... but when you hear it from someone who you relate with and share this frustration with, you generally want to share the solution with them as well. I hope this helped someone. If anyone is UNHAPPY with RICK BARKER's proposal or are questioning any of his offering(s) to you, please message me directly and I will give you a FREE evaluation of what his proposal is doing for you or what value it will bring you. I will literally help you (No catch) just so I can piggyback on Gary's audience but only in a value providing format so you don't feel deceived, cheated, etc.. I'm out in the open... no bushes around me (I'm not beating around the bush).. I'll tell you what's up and let's assume you're not happy with the proposal you received from Rick Baker... or it simply doesn't bring you value or match your expectations.... then I will at a minimum point you in the right direction... If I don't have a better answer or I'm unable to do it, then I could at least reach out to many of the resources in my network to see if I can align expectations. That's what I call Compounding Value... It's a pretty easy formula really: I help you and help my resource.... Then maybe by delivering GOOD VALUE in that situation, it will result in you repeating the same (maybe even thinking of me in the future when sending someone to one of you resources). Maybe my actions, my practice... my ethics..my rituals... will influence my peers.... Maybe just maybe... that will contribute to making KINGS... not PAWNS....

I’ve watch Gary for 3 years now I’m 21 and slowly becoming the man I want to be. Gary says something here that I’ve never heard him say in that way before. The part where he talks about how some people can’t deal with the failure of letting 1 ball drop when juggling 2 and how he gains energy off of the mix and diversify of things. I think I am wired in a very similar way. I want to juggle 18 balls let 8 fall and have 10 still going cause it gives me energy and motivation to do. Thanks for that insight Gary. Hope you read this.

Thank you for this. There are some things that I have been saying in my content that sounds just like this. My problem is that I think that a lack of major success that is evident to all has held me back. I commit to not doing that anymore. I am going to speak my truth irrespective of what other people have to say about it. Period. I love the content that I am producing and I think that if people were to just listen to it, it could really help them navigate some tough situations and it could help those who have already made it. In that it will help them to remember how they got there! Thank you for delivering massive value!

NOTE TO PPL: when you're seeking answers, *cut your story down to a FIVE sentences (or less), and your question to ONE.* it helps the listener be clear about what you're asking, without having to sift through a long ass story, and helps you focus in on what you really want to know. this is why we hear GV rush ppl along when they're giving backstory, bc it's hard to sit through long scenarios and narratives that won't change the answer.

I do not think that those who preach focusing on one thing are only talking about the ability to juggle but also for you to be known and remembered for one thing you do. The idea is that you have more leverage if people think one thing and remember you than they call your name and someone mentions you as providing service A and the other B and the other C and so on.
