I really miss these simple uncomplicated daily living videos. So many youtubers are now striving for the WOW affect. Keep em coming Carolyn. Really relaxing. You have a good balance of different styles/techniques of showing what the realities of the nomad lifestyle are about. Thank you.

Today's episode; Sadie and Carolyn practice for the Olympics women's football team! I was thinking that was a Depression era construction. Those folks did NOT mess around. IN the mountains above Azusa there is quite a bit of the CCC work and it's held up all these years. Carolyn! It wasn't that long ago that you couldn't have done all that! You are on the mend. And Sadie is clearly healthy and happy. I love how well she minds you without fear or trembling but just happy to (mostly) do so because you taught her that you are trustworthy. She's a WONDERFUL dog - so glad you chose her instead of her brother.

2020 was a serious year in Arizona for wildfires, too. Love your sharing with us! Not everyone needs people around them constantly to feel comfortable. Sometimes (well, most times for me) the best friends and companions don't speak with words. Their spirit speaks volumes. I always loved walking and knowing my Shepard's were close enough. I had my own noises to call them to me. I'm working on getting to my own quiet life of retirement.

The leak was interesting. In the south island NZ you find the old mining leaks to transport water to old mining and still present day farms. Most are built of timber. It was amazing cycling along beside them and seeing the distances and terrain that the water was redirected over.

🇬🇧 Many years ago I scooped up water from a river flowing down a mountain in the Lake District. It was icy and delicious but five minutes later I rounded a corner and there in the river was a dead sheep. It doesn't do to take chances but fortunately my chance taking did me no harm despite me suddenly realising that sheep manure could easily be washed into the river by rain. 🌧
