@richchadwick06262 жыл бұрын
Dee Hayes, stop the nonsense. By all accounts he has been sober. Look at the music since Richie left. It's awful. Look at the tours: why aren't they doing stadiums in the US? Why is this current tour only 15 shows? Here's the answer (and don't let the JBJ propaganda get in the way here): because they aren't selling anything out anymore. Go to Ticketmaster and you will see how many seats are still available. Bottom line: it isn't Bon Jovi without Richie.
@jp38132 жыл бұрын
@@richchadwick0626 The band's music has been declining for a long time even w/ Richie. Both him & Jon have had solo careers in their primes and it proved which one could still produce hits w/o the other. Amplified by the fact that all but four of Jon's songs as a solo artist were solely written (two albums), while all but three of Richie's songs were co-written (three albums). And let's not forget that Richie didn't co-write the hits Runaway, Living in Sin, Bed of Roses, I Believe, Dry County (great guitar solo though), Always, etc... Fans do miss Richie, but a more significant factor for the live shows is Jon's voice. Decades of being the main singer along w/ aging & smoking has been catching up to him since the late 90s when he had to change his singing style for his 2nd album, and no backup singer can make up for that.
