Richie Sambora is the back up vocalist and lead guitartist of Bon Jovi. He's an amazing vocalist. I highly suggest you listen to Dead Or Alive. His vocals and guitar on that are top notch. Also he has some great solo songs of his own. Stranger In This Town is a great blues rock song by Richie. Also the songs One Light Burning and Father Time

There are acoustic versions of Dead or Alive, as well as Livin’ on a Prayer, with just Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. Both share the spotlight equally, no relegating one to the shadow like in this video.

Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi had a magic that has been missing since Richie left the band. They really were a dynamic duo. Richie’s background vocals completed the songs. @@scottfield5849 it’s Jon’s band, it’s Eddie’s band, it’s 0zzy’s band, there’s a reason there’s still a Bon Jovi without the lead guitarist. It’s Jon’s band. That doesn’t diminish Sambora’s talent or contributions to the band, but it’s Jon’s band. You know this…right?

Almost 7 months since your last Bon Jovi reaction. Gotta get into more of their hits. Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora are both in the Songwriters Hall of Fame, along w/ their frequent collaborator Desmond Child. BTW, if you're gonna react to "Wanted Dead or Alive", be sure to choose the longer album version rather than the shorter music video version. Or if you wanna see Jon & Richie, choose their legendary 1989 MTV Video Music Awards performance of the song.

@richchadwick0626
@richchadwick0626 2 жыл бұрын
Dee Hayes, stop the nonsense. By all accounts he has been sober. Look at the music since Richie left. It's awful. Look at the tours: why aren't they doing stadiums in the US? Why is this current tour only 15 shows? Here's the answer (and don't let the JBJ propaganda get in the way here): because they aren't selling anything out anymore. Go to Ticketmaster and you will see how many seats are still available. Bottom line: it isn't Bon Jovi without Richie.
@jp3813
@jp3813 2 жыл бұрын
@@richchadwick0626 The band's music has been declining for a long time even w/ Richie. Both him & Jon have had solo careers in their primes and it proved which one could still produce hits w/o the other. Amplified by the fact that all but four of Jon's songs as a solo artist were solely written (two albums), while all but three of Richie's songs were co-written (three albums). And let's not forget that Richie didn't co-write the hits Runaway, Living in Sin, Bed of Roses, I Believe, Dry County (great guitar solo though), Always, etc... Fans do miss Richie, but a more significant factor for the live shows is Jon's voice. Decades of being the main singer along w/ aging & smoking has been catching up to him since the late 90s when he had to change his singing style for his 2nd album, and no backup singer can make up for that.

Ritchie Sambora is probably the most underrated guitarist and rock vocalist. He's also the guy who has the awesome guitar voice synth in other Bon Jovi songs. IMO he was the glue that held Bon Jovi together. He left the band back in 2013 - having seen them several times before and after, all I can say is his presence is missed. You can go deep in the Bon Jovi rabbit hole - just make sure to appreciate Richie on the journey, an incredible talent.

Richie Sambora is the lead guitarist and as you noticed he has a pretty good voice too. You should try anything off his first solo album "Stranger In This Town." Eric Clapton played on one song on the album. Start with "Rosie" or "Stranger In This Town" if you're interested in checking him out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

my favourite Bon Jovi song would be "Santa Fe", one of many song wtitten for original motion picture soundtrack of a movie "Young Guns". ....it's a movie about a notorious criminals in wild west era, whose coloquially called for "having two right hands" for his shooting abilities. it definitely gives out certain vibe and feelings that successfully portray the emotions from the movie... I personally suggest you guys to reacted to this particular song.

Like many, I’m a lifelong 80’s kid , grew up listening to all these great rock bands- scorpions, dio, Poison, Crue , you name it the list goes on and on but for me , Def Leppard And Bon Jovi were my two favorite - they had it all- the looks, the rocking anthems, the gorgeous power ballads, the harmonies, Melodies, great hooks and riffs and the staying power. So nice to see you both also stating on your reactions how much you love these two bands. Keep rocking guys!
