I am so glad Erin brought up boundaries. I just realized that, for me, I have to respect myself and have healthy boundaries so that when there is an opportunity to serve others, I don’t avoid it because I feel resentful. Without healthy boundaries, I hear myself thinking ‘why should I help?’ when I feel bad about the dynamics in a relationship. I think it’s important to note that some people are selfish because of false pride, but some are selfish because they feel controlled by others. Both are ungodly extremes.

I often take baked goodies to teachers who work with me. I love seeing all the happy faces. Love to leave surprise notes and treats for friends. Love writing and mailing cards and letters to children and grandchildren. Love taking some cup cakes to church to give away to someone who has a birthday or someone who needs a boost.

Joyce I speak for myself, I love you because your preaching have taught me good things. As well as others. I love the way you allow yourself to be led by God and helping people. Don’t regret anything you’ve ever done even if it seem like it wasn’t worth it. Nothing goes ignored in Gods kingdom with a heart felt intention. Years go I was running a program to help people and I didn't have any money , but often God provided. My friend started telling me I was being taken advantage of and suggested stop helping .. finally I quit I've never been as filled with joy , as I was when I was in service and helping people.

This was an amazing episode, love you guys! Hee robot Important what we surround first thoughts in the morning. balance in message ...check background for hurt/neglect to not seek/feed self largely ....sow well for harvest of His joy ...we can burn out from neglecting self & we love others as we love self ...hence, glad denying self/sacrificing/delighting in Him unto God's care till gray hair & of course, kingdom mission ...not let hurt, inconvenience take over Glad discussed boundaries and sacrificing in harmony

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with what JOYCE just said about praying if my friend told me that she prayed in her prayer was answered and I said oh my gosh, I prayed for the same thing. I do not get the glory at all and I’m don’t expect the glory it goes to Jesus Christ, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong letting someone know that you’ve been praying for them that same situation. I will never take anything away from God is not mine to take.
