My newbie knitting self found this so helpful. I hope you will create other short videos on some of the topics you mentioned at the video's end. 🙂

I think of knitting and crocheting as the analog version of 3-D printing. Taking a filament to create an object in three dimensions.

I had this thought too. I don't need a new hobby but making this connection got me more interested.

Factoid: the word "purl" comes from the ancient Scots word "pirl," which meant "twist."

Wait I thought the garter stitch made the bumpy side and the purl made the pretty V side. Have I had it backwards this whole time? 😅

Hi!! I saw your tutorial regarding knitting with circular needles! I totally get that this is out of the blue but my mom is unfortunately really sick and as a last wish she wanted to knit blankets to all of her grandchildren. She started knitting 1 blanket and everything was going OK! But she found out she made a mistake (she was really tired and fudged out a few eyes that made a mass!) And mistakenly started to undue like an entire row and accidentally removed the entire circular needles! When she tried to resume doing the knitting the 2 sides kept connecting! I tried looking online for a solution and couldn't find one! Please please please help me help her with her last wish! 😭
