Ezra was thrown right into it full speed. and had natural talent. BY the end of Rebels he was so strong for his age. But he seems to be able to tap into the dark side when he needs to and not let it consume him, thats how strong willed he is. He always has a clear purpose and intent, and its always for the right reason, but he also carries a lot of pain. But i think being with the ghost crew and finding a second Family helped him get over a lot of that. Kana instilled in him, that once people are gone, they are gone.

yes, Ezra was tempted many times but he did not fall, in fact the last thing we saw him do was to sacrifice himself for the people of Lothal. I think that since he presumably has been without a light saber that he may have learned to use the force in ways we have not yet seen. He may have enhanced agility and speed that allows him to outmaneuver an opponent. Maybe where he's at Kyber is super common.

I think Ezra is going to be a powerful force user, almost certainly controlling some form of native beast/s. I think he'll be referred to as a 'Wizard' of some kind by locals until we meet him.

The biggest plot hole I can see with him having gone dark already, or joined Thrawn, is that he probably could have returned already via purgles or the world between worlds. It’s more likely he’s held by Thrawn who’s been unable to break him. Dudes got options when it comes to sky walking out of places.

Thrawn is working for a greater good using evil means at times. I can see Ezra understanding that and maybe helping. I think that will be the twist, they arrive and ezra is working with thrawn.

Ezra is Disney's first major SW baby. Yall gotta remember Clone Wars was being produced when LucasFilm sold SW to Disney, then it got cancelled & we got Rebels a couple of years later. Expect him to be very powerful. Since Ive read the full season leaks, I'll just say that although I loved Rebels (more than any SW media bar the Kyle Katarn games), the things that are in store in Live Action wont be every SW fan's cup of tea. Looking back, Rebels debuted extremely avant concepts like the Force in Nature (Lothwolves, etc), which will be a tad too "Disney" for ALOT of SW fans who're used to a more sterile universe. Seeing Nightsisters & Lothwolves in Live Action might be a tad too much for some of yall.

I'm beginning to think they will not get back home, that they're lost in space, and that perhaps this series is a spin-off to give Filoni his very own Star Wars galaxy that he will have complete creative control over...and maybe the movie he is going to direct is going to be just about this galaxy. Beyond this point in the timeline, none of the characters in this episode were in the sequel trilogy, comics, novels, etc. Do they ALL die in the next couple of decades? 🤔 Also, the Ghost was cameoed in Rise of Skywalker, so the fact that Hera didn't ride along inside the Purgil to accompany Ahsoka is another clue. It is implied that she IS still around in the sequel trilogy.

Perhaps Ezra will be like the Bendu, the one in the middle. Neither light or dark, but both in some kind of integrated/balanced form. And in that state you can potentially reach levels of power beyond any Jedi or Sith who operates only one side of the force or the other.

Hold the presses! I just realized that the Jedi Temple on Lothal (or half of it?) is currently on board the Chimera with Ezra and Thrawn. Yes, it was destroyed by Ezra, but not to the point of being irreparable. So it is not impossible for it to have been reconstructed in this other galaxy. I am not certain what that means for the story yet, but I am fairly confident that Ahsoka's experience in the World-Between-Worlds is connected.

I don't think he'll be like baylen. Baylen obviously hasn't let go of his past and thinks through power he can fix everything. "The emperor was bad but if I was the emperor" type deal. Ezra I think has let go like how palpatine tried to manipulate him with his parents and he accepted their fate. I see him being just a "good" character who trusts the force and is connected with it. Focusing on the will of the force not what he wants with it. The jedi didn't intentionally try to use the force for their own gain but they became blind to it's will, slowly thinking they were following it but in reality they just did the will of the republic which was mostly good but not always. Sith actively use the force for their own will, and that will is bad and selfish. I think Baylen is using the force for his will but he beliees it is good (which is why he's not sith). I belive ezra has that balance.

I don’t think that Ezra could’ve come to a draw with Kanan even by the end of rebels. At the time Kanan was possessed by at least one night sister who was puppeteering his body and as we have seen from the Maul comics when mother Talzin possessed Dooko that when they do this they don’t retain any memories of fighting styles the duelist has. Furthermore, Kanan beat Maul after just being blinded, I don’t think Ezra could compete by the end of Rebels.

@@y.n.tryone4683 I mean, maul wasn’t really that powerful at this point. After he got chopped in half he lost a lot of his force sensitivity. Kinda like how Vader could have been way more powerful if Obi Wan didn’t turn him into a welcome mat. Maul lost power in the force but he is skilled with a lightsaber and he still lost to a recently blinded man. Kanan didn’t even need to tap into the dark side or anything, just wait for maul to try to take a shot at him. Edit: if i didn’t make this clear, Maul was the better duelist obviously but Kanan is better at giving into the force, which is why he won.

The Jedi order needs to change. they see themselves as the good/light but it was their hubris that lead to their downfall. a lot of their rules were too extreme and led not only anakin but others to the darkside. there is no reason a Jedi cannot have a partner or family, that alone does not lead to the darkside. It is attachment, we should not love someone like they are our property and death is inevitable. If anakin would’ve been taught this he would’ve never feared loosing padme and Vader would cease to exist.

@@StrykeSZN no, Ashoka has higher potential. Ezra’s my fav character however I would say he is slightly below mace or at level with maze in force potential. Ashoka is confirmed above him in force potential plus the boost from the gods. Both are great. And Ezra will be powerful one day
