It's quite an old-fashioned expression though. "Like father, like son"--while admittedly also old-fashioned--is a more direct/literal equivalent to the Chinese expression, 有其父必有其子。

有一首歌歌詞說得很好: if you mad stay mad, we're not alike, 嬴的就是嬴了, 傷得了誰? 由她自己內耗吧
Reading Navarro's comments (even before this video). She sounds like a bit of a diva, and when you have that huge of an ego, basically any minor thing can be seen as 'disrespect'. Also, she is a good example that if you are not going to get into details, it's better not to say anything to begin with. Because when you are inevitably asked for specifics and you can't get into them, most people will assume it's all in your head.

It is not racism. It is cultural and value-based. In other words, 格局问题。

As a person who followed tennis for over 45 years, and raised kids playing in USTA tourneys for over decades, I tell you this is pure racism.
@coolvi60152 ай бұрын
@@ParkerAt941 Hey I am sorry about your experience, but allow me to explain. The racism card is often deflected or deescalated back to an individual level; what has been intentionally dodged and overlooked is the fundamental cause. Individualism triumphs over modesty and humbleness in the Western culture rather than complementary (in Chinese culture), and the nature of competition lacks cooperation and civility--this is even observed in US-China relations due to China's misconception of "competition" by Western definition--racism is not only a display of human indecency, but the reflection of an inferior culture and its values. When a kid is called a loser and taught to crush their opponents by their parents, it is survival in its primitive form; racism is merely a social phenomenon. This logic/topic could be elaborated for hours and days, but this is the gist of it.
