Hands down my favorite band! Dunno who is requesting these but I love them for doing so 😅 Abscence Persistent is in relation to a traveling theme between this song and a few others on the album; being absent in times that they shouldnt have been, in relation to regret in life after a loved one dies. "Buried soul, the day that I left you there is the day I betrayed my grace to rot on my own" Not reading the lyrics is almost a disservice, their lyrics arent just word salad; Invent Animate are true poets and write beautiful and meaningful stuff.

Very entertaining reaction to a great song from their latest album "Heavener" released this year. However, their 2016 album "Stillworld" is their best so far.
