What a fantastic weekend! 🤩
The ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring witnessed an emotional double milestone as the Frikadelli team claimed their inaugural victory in the "Eifel Marathon" while also granting Ferrari their first-ever triumph in the prestigious endurance classic.
After 24 hours through the "Green Hell", Briton David Pittard steered the local heroes' new Ferrari 296 GT3 across the finish line in first place. Together with Earl Bamber, Nick Catsburg and Felipe Fernandez Laser, he also set a distance record: Never before had a winning team completed 162 laps since the race's premiere in 1970. After 4,085.858 kilometers, the Frikadelli-Ferrari had a 26.911-second lead over the #98 Rowe-BMW.

As an Aussie first time viewer, Bathurst USED to be this good with all the different classes. Supercars is almost as boring as F1. This was fantastic, endurance races are my new thing!

The Bathurst 12h are still a really good race though, should get even better in the future with even more GT3 brands coming up. The spirit of the "old" Bathurst 12h is alive anyways with the Bathurst 6 hour race as far as I can tell.

Started with F1 but Gt3 racing is a lot more entertaining to watch due to bop imo. Makes it more unpredictable. F1 is so predictable most races
