Fullmetal Alchemist. It taught me a lot of things in life. That moment when Ed's mom( Trisha Elric) gave that speech about why humans should exist to Von Hohenhiem was truly one of the best moments in anime. It taught me never to give up no matter what comes in your way. It also helped me see my family in a different light and appreciate their struggles in light.

Changed my life maybe not exactly, but there's one quote from Bunny Girl Senpai that very much stuck with me and changed my outlook on life a bit. There's a character, Shouko, who for story reasons has had difficulty finding a purpose for her life while growing up. At some point she has a scene with the MC where she explains this to him and that in the end she made it her goal to become kinder everyday, in the hopes of helping people and having her actions impact them in a positive way whether it be a tiny or a big impact. Whenever I start feeling loss about how meaningless life is, what we're supposed to do here and what's the point of it, this idea of living to become kinder comes back in the back of my mind and helps a lot. Even if you don't have grand goals of changing the world in some way, sometimes it's the small gestures that actually will have meaningful impacts for those around you.

Violet Evergarden, Fate Zero, steins gate and Babylon. Every last one of them have helped me become the person I am today and without them my life would be very different. Violet Evergarden saved me in a way that no amount of words could ever possibly describe and to this day it still holds a special place in my heart. Fate Zero helped me find my purpose in life and showed me that we have accept the true reality of a situation and not hide behind a lie. steins gate taught me the value in pushing forward no matter the situation and helped me understand the true meaning of consequences. Babylon helped me understand what it was that made people want to die and that the idea of good and evil is much more complex than I could ever imagine.

Changed my life... Actually yes, I guess Naruto, it was the first anime that was not pokémon that I ever saw, the show itself now when I look back definetly has it's issues like asspulls, plotholes, mediocre writing etc but it did get me into the medium.
@ProtagonistRayen Жыл бұрын
Nostalgia coming in hard for this one. But I totally get you. Naruto is for sure objectively not the greatest but sometimes it's not the technical aspects of a show that change you for sure.
