Dont rush out to speak before we have context to our word. Otherwise it makes Christ unhappy I believe. The quote is actually from Matt 18:10, not 8:10. I agree with John Piper that the 'little ones' in this verse refers to Christians. And the verse does seem to suggest that we have specific angels who are assigned to us.

Sorry if I’m being insensitive, I just don’t understand your point is what I am trying to say really. But Satan is very smart but stupid to leave God, but we all sin. We are just saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Idk I don’t think that Satan can even be redeemed. But we are human and we have a whole lifetime to follow Christ. We have a process of sanctification (becoming a saint) through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. As we are being sanctified we are called to Love. Because God is love. “If you love me you will keep my commandments” Jesus said that. And he commands us to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and the second is like it, love others as yourself. He later says “love others the way Christ has loved you” He says “I never knew you depart from me you workers of iniquity” I don’t have a clue if you really have the spirit of God so I figured I would share some of this :) if you feel like leaving Bible references so I can follow along in the logic that will help me a ton thanks! “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. People badly / mistakenly visualize angels . In my opinion, angels do not have wings as they are portrayed. Wings are a visualization that they can move freely in time and space. In fact, if someone will saw / noticed the real figure of an angel he could get scared as if he was haunt by some kind of demon if he hadn't seen someone like that before.

Mmm yah I have that same question now. My thoughts are maybe in relation to "baby christians" described in 1 Corinthians 3 & 4, or also maybe people who are normally seen to have a simple faith such as children. We have 2 Chronicles 34 as an example of the 8 year old king Josiah leading Jerusalem remarkably well, and 1 Timothy 4:12 as Paul instructing him to be an example inspite of his age. These sort of defend the authenticity of the faith of "young" people. Maybe Pastor John had something else in mind. I sort of firehosed yah but I hope it helps!

I think it includes believers with very little knowledge. I remind myself that knowledge in itself does not make me a better person. It only makes me more responsible to obey what I have discovered (I base that on Luke 12:48).

On the flip side there is probably much more demonic activity than we realize as well. Abortion is ok in one instance and even then all options should be exahusted. If somehow delivering the child will kill the mother then in that rare instance the unfortunate has to be done. In all other cases it's murder. Committing one heinous sin because of another heinous sin is terrible thinking and Jesus nowhere condones that in the Bible.

Some of these I covered about the guardian angels part. I do agree that children had, and maybe still do, have guardian angels. As far as adult believers go, He said “unless you become LIKE these little ones”. He didn’t say you’d actually become one. Which means you’d adopt the children’s actions and attitude, he didn’t say you’d get everything they have (in this case a guardian angel) This is the reason why I cannot approve of the guardian angel theory. I enjoyed the rest of the sermon though.

We know that man was created in the image of God because the Bible says. I wonder and I know there is no way to know this because it doesn't say in the Bible but I wonder if the animals on earth were made in the image of angels because a lot of the things angels do parallels what animals do. They serve, they are messengers (before modern time how were messages sent long distances? - carrier pigeons, camels, horses, donkeys etc... Seraphium (sp?) burning ones the horses on fire that pulled the chariot that the wind carried the Prophet into heaven who's to say they were not seraphium anyway may be wrong but its something to wonder.

The angels are doing the same thing now that they have been doing for many billions of years. God only does work that only God can do. Angels did not minister to Jesus. Gabriel consulted with Jesus because the Lucifer Rebellion was ongoing at the time. Angels did not roll the stone away from Jesus tomb, they changed time so that Jesus earth body would completely decompose in seconds. Angels do not serve Christians but, once again, I'm not surprised you think that way. Your ego is so incredibly over inflated, nothing you say surprises me anymore. Angels do work for the universe to assist in the ascension process. Some angels, angels of death, also eliminate those who are rejected, so, you shouldn't think they all serve you. Angels serve the universe, Jesus, and other angels. Angels do not serve God. Only about 10% of them have been to heaven and when there they are just visitors. Angels do not become demonic. They are free will beings who rarely go into rebellion. You can argue that everything that exists in the universe comes from God, because it does, but Jesus has the authority and power to independently form new beings for this universe. The very top level angels, Lucifer and Gabriel, were formed by Jesus and Spirit (member of the Trinity) but most angels were formed by other angels until they reach their limit set by Jesus. The watchers are angels that record everything in detail. This information is used to create your life review, the bad (hell), and the good. Guardian angels do not protect any human, they guard the soul connection "IF" the soul has chosen to keep you. They keep it from being jumped. Statistically speaking you should get some things right but you never do because your ego tells you that it's all about you when it's not.

i struggle with them all,ive yet to find a teacher,a pastor that i can find,that although very good sounding, or snake like sounding that i could suggest or recommend to anyone to listen to....i guess thats why its written call no one pastor, or is that master ? or teacher ? ive yet to hear a so called teacher other than the disciple Peter , to teach as soon as our Lord was put to death in the flesh He was made Alive in the Spirit 1Peter 3 18-20 and went into the centre of the earth for 3 days and nights to the imprisoned angels and that is where God His Father raised Him from .......and when considered sheds real light of the power of God and His Only Son ,..He is the One that has descended and ascended .....but no wishy washy mealy mouth so called teachers come close to touching on this .....never mind ever addressing what a Cloud is in Scripture the way i look at it is they make me search the Scriptures like a bearan to see what they say adds up,...Jesus has been The Only Teacher that has never made me question them !
