All the time, for one i receive physical mail after buying something i really can't stand this, i rather they just ask you it's ridiculous and installing apps on Windows is full of dark pattern accept offer while decline will low contrast

Great video! Unfortunately it's very naïve to think that these are accidental decisions made by companies these days. Even big names like Amazon / Paypal do this kind of crap and honestly they should be penalized for this behavior.

Great video! I especially hate being shamed into signing up for a newsletter. Why are you trying to make me feel bad of course I don’t “love wasting time” but it doesn’t mean I want to sign up for your newsletter.

dark patterns, the other I went to @walmart asking for new tires, price was better than my previous quotes, so I went ahead, all seems good until I did notice the receipt had this "rotation for life" item at $16 per tire... now I have this "dark service" kind of insurance that I don't know how to use... ha

It's worth noting that many of the examples are from multi-million/billion dollar companies that absolutely know what they are doing with regards to dark patterns and design these things to benefit *them*, NOT you.
