There is a book I read about fiends in Witcher 3 I bought from book merchant who you sell the Van Rogh painting to. Book is called Beasts of the Tukaj Foothills. It basically says that fiends are created by witches who cast a spell to breed Boars with Bears, the result is born a Fiend.

The fiend in crookbog doesn't have a name. Morvudd is a fiend you find on Skellige while doing a contract. Of course you can just find while exploring, but it's for a contract.

Fiends and chorts are also ridiculously weak to poison so spam devil puffball bombs and in combination use a silver sword which has the poison effect. Also if you stack enough poison damage it may stun lock the feind or chort aswell making the fight easy as hell lol

I didn't realize at first that I been blinded when the screen went dark. my first thought was "how did become night already"? I saw the red eye icon but wasn't sure what it meant. Morvudd also managed to push me off the area the fight are in and since you can't jump while fighting I had to walk around. I ended up leaving and returning later to finish the fight.

I too, but with saving the trapped guy in the cave from the wyrm nest on top of that mountain, was severely underleveled but won by baiting one at a time into the cave where they cant fly, then lure them over another ledge to fall making it bug out trying to get back to the nest since its pathing wasnt meant to be in a cave lol

Just found your videos and am loving them! New sub. Fun factoid: “kvetch” is a word meaning to complain, or a person known for complaining. It’s pronounced a lot like the city of Kvatch in TES: Oblivion, but with an “eh” sound in the middle instead of “ah”. It’s basically a one syllable word, with the “kv” part essentially forming one sound, rather than “ka-vetch”. Think of just saying “vetch” but smash a “k” sound at the beginning of the “veh” part. Yay for relatives descended from Yiddish speakers. :) My aunts and uncles use this word a lot, so I got a kick out of the monster name “bumbakvetch”. It reminded me of a bitchy old goat. Ha!

Not really, I rarely use Igni. Most of the time I use Quen and hack and dodge my way to victory. Sure sometimes use Igni but most of the time I use it to light torches in dungeons for some more immersion, just to never enter this dungeon ever again ^^ No clue why I never saw it. Probably because I am at the side or behind the fiend most of the time =)
