Now I have to sell my Sportster low and the 23' Triumph Trident 660. Shouldn't have gone down to a 660! Little nervous jumping up to the FZ10. Surprised at the seat height. Isn't any taller than the Triumph. Just gotta be smooth on the controls, throttle!

MT10 owner here. just watching videos because its too cold where I live to ride right now and I miss it. :( I just wanted to give a some input about the brakes. They suck, I know. I changed my pads with less than 100 miles on the MT10. I used HH sintered I think, and I think EBC brand pads. That made a huge difference. Its almost as good as super sport brakes with the right pads. I was happy with that, but not as happy as I was with my old Honda CBR brakes. I considered changing to an R1 master and brake lines, but I have grown accustomed to them and I think that just a pad change and a little time for adjustment is all you need to be confident with your bike, if you just ride on the street. Also not sure if you installed an aftermarket exhaust or not yet. That's opening a can of worms. But its worth it to hear her sing.

Yes they are garbage! So I actually just added new pads already! I ended up getting the Brembo Sintered racing pads. Haven’t been on the bike since I changed them but I will soon! Yes I do have an exhaust on it and it sounds amazing!

The fuel mileage gets even worse once you get an ECU flash. I get about 80 miles from fill up to when the gas light comes on. The bike is way faster and smoother, but the economy is bad lol. A set of brake pads and and a brake bleed will make a decent difference, but on track or really aggressive riding, just pads aren't enough IMO. I upgraded to an R1 master cylinder and Stoltec Moto ABS brake lines, it made all the difference in power, modulation, and feel of the front brakes. Also, you cant lockup the rear tire no matter how hard you stand on the pedal because of the ABS.

Oh wow! I can get a little over 100 miles a fill up and mine is flashed. I just upgraded the pads to some Brembo sintered pads and the bite is a lot better now. Agreed if I do track days they will need some more work.
