If 13 minutes is the fastest someone does it, then that's their quicky. It just happens to be important for some folks to make sure both sides reaches some discussed end. A quickie doesnt necessarily mean it's only for one side, but that may happen.

My husbands vasectomy was the same experience as this. It was very easy for him, no pain afterward. (He didn't even take painkillers at all after the procedure) No lasting effects aftee that. I would not suggest it to someone unless theyre sure they don't want kids. Cuz you never know if reversing will really work.

I didn't think it was right for Rhett to say that Link was trying to make him look bad. If you like 30 sec quickie, that's okay, no one has any business to critique it. Similarly, if for Link quickie is 13 minutes, he can have tht preference and it doesn't mean other preferences are bad. The emotional component is more important to him and he is allowed to feel like that. Vasectomies are NOT 100% reversible so no one should get one unless they don't intend to have kids. That was HORRIBLE advice. It's also very expensive to reverse, doesn't protect from STD's, and quite painful. PS- I meant reversal is very painful. Getting it done initially isn't too bad. I had it done and it was uncomfortable for a couple days but getting your wisdom teeth out, for example, is worse.
