Many already know that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are considered Abrahamic religions because of their shared beginnings with the biblical patriarch, Abraham. Lesser known, though, is the fact that there are other faith traditions (besides these three) that are also considered Abrahamic. Crazy how the one root source can lead to such diversity in interpretation and beliefs. It's sad to see how much evil has been perpetuated in the name of the differences in the interpretations.

People often say, “I’m not hurting anyone so it’s ok to sin (lying, stealing, sexual sins, disrespecting parents etc)” The same God who said to love your neighbour first said to love Him to the best of your ability. If you carry on sinning, then you do not love God but are selfish like the devil so you will be joined to your father in hell or repent of your sins and believe in Jesus as God so Jesus adopts you as His child and you will join Him in Heaven forever.

Sn is doing wrong and ultimately separates you from God because God is Holy, choose Heaven not Hell by choosing Jesus today If I knew you were in the way of incoming traffic id pull you out of the way. Likewise, if you were in a burning building, I’d pull you out as well. What you don’t realise is your soul is on fire hence the preaching. The word of God is offensive to you right now but once you become a Christian you will realise the awesomeness of God and what love really is.

@@thereisnonegoodbutgodjohn363 why do you get the impression i'm trying to earn your trust? i'm only speaking about ideas. make of them what you will. that 2nd part of your comment really added nothing besides some hopeful drama. if we were both starving in a wild mountain range and i was injured, you would literally eat me to survive. does that give you some perspective of how precious an alleged soul is? also this not preaching, what you're doing is preaching your specific cultural mythology. what i'm doing is called philosophical discussion, specifically relating to epistemology, being the philosophy of knowledge, and the level of certainty one can have over such ideas such as a soul, when nothing specifically suggests the existence of such thing except to you and other "believers". have you considered the idea that just because you emotionally feel like souls and a God must exist, that this feeling alone absolutely does not prove their existence? have you ever seen an optical illusion or heard an audio illusion? do you simply believe with unconditional trust what appears and feels to your limited human perception to be the case?

I'm currently studying Yezidism and I can tell you that they do not trace their tradition to Abraham. In fact, many Yezidis denounce him. The use of the term Abrahamic is, in their case, exonymic, and is used due to the notable connections between their faith and other Abrahamic faiths

Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. I’m still trusting in you even though I’m struggling putting groceries in the refrigerator, and paying bills. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, Im all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I post my story all over to spread awareness of what mandates are doing, not just to myself but to many other families. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances it truly hurts me. BUT even after all these things. I STILL HAVE FAITH GOD WILL PROVIDE. He has sent strangers to help me. I’m forever grateful! EVEN as I face homelessness seemly every month with two young children. I have faith our Heavenly Father will provide. Thank you Jesus.

As soon as Prophet Abraham, pbuh, came out of Egypt, he and his entourage continued to walk towards the *South (SaudiArabia now)* not to Negev or Palestine or the Dead Sea. Prophet Abraham, pbuh, and his entourage are performing Hajj in *Mecca (Bethel)* and praying at the *Kaaba (Altar)* which he once built. Below is from the original text of the Bible. There was a King in the time of the NEO BABYLONIAN EMPIRE named King Nabonidus who let his son King Belshazzarr (at the time of Prophet Daniel) ruled while he himself migrated to Telma in Saudi Arabia now and settled there for 10 years. This is history. There is still the place/fotress where it remains. Telma is located near Medina and Mecca. In the Quran, the name of Prophet Abraham's, pbuh, father is *AZAR* but in the Bible it is *Terah.* These are the name of the NeoBabylonian Kings/Emperors... Nabonassar, Nabochadnezzar, Nabopolassar and Belshazzar. Obviously there is a connection here. It is very likely that Prophet Abraham, pbuh, was one of the sons of the first King Nabonassar or even the previous King of Assyria. So is Sarah, the princess and his wife. The Babylonians worshiped the Star/Venus, the Sun and the Moon... (there are many stone carvings that have been found as evidence). Prophet Abraham, pbuh, refused to worship the Star, the Sun and the Moon as per to the story found in the Quran and moved to the city of Harran (the holy city at that time) before eventually heading to Palestine. Note: Azar/Asar comes from the name Ashur, the name of the country and also the name of God. Ashur is also another name for Enlil. Assyrian civilization. It will takes a lot more research and ultimately....only God knows. Wallahualam. Finally, it is of no wonder that Jews today tie a small replica...a Miniature Black Cube on their heads and arms and tie the ropes in 7 knots (tawaf/go round the Kaaba) when praying .... this is all but to commemorate the life of Prophet Abraham, pbuh in the ancient past and so as not lost to history. Christianity is from Paul teachings and not from Jesus, pbuh and as such not really from an Abrahamic faith. Actually, as per the Old testament Ezekiel 44:9 and Isaiah 52:1.. Christians are not even allowed to enter Jerusalem, a holy city, because they are not circumcised and are thus treated as filth. You can see even Jews today spit at the Church and on the Christians Priest or Commoners alike in Israel. But not to the Muslims.

The inspired word of God states that there will be only TWO religions prior to the Second Coming. Christianity and Counterfeit Christianity. No Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Rasta etc. Satan himself will appear as an angel of light, impersonating a counterfeit second coming, bringing the world into one accord under error. As satan always wanted Christs position in heaven, he will be allowed to rule for a short while as all bow to him in honor exept the true followers of Christ as Revelation 14:12 states. I was brought up to respect all religions since growing up. Once we traced our father ancestry found out he was traced back to Samaritan. After digging into history on why my father side are converted due to the Roman Empire Emperor Zeno who converted them to Christians and then the Ottomans came and they converted again. I could not figure it out why my grandfather (rip) spoke Aramaic along with Arabic. My father only learned Arabic and I know Arabic but I can understand Aramaic.

Huh I see well i am a Palestinian-Syrian arab Muslim, my father being Palestinian and mother being Syrian I am pretty sure from my fathers side we have Samaritan roots as well since we come from Nablus which I know is a place where many Samaritans had lived or settled now even if I dont have to Samaritan roots I still have Jewish roots as does every palestinian since Palestinians are genetically of jewish-cannanite descent along with some greek mixtures.

If I had to believe in some Supreme being, I'd go with the oldest religion Hinduism. As far as the Abrahamic religions, since the beginning of time man has tried to explain the unexplainable by building structures to govern their societies. God was originally created to keep law and order in your jurisdiction. Not a Supreme being, just an ideal. All those holy books were written by multiple authors so it's not so much the word as it is the idea. Most people won't kill, rob, cheat, steal, lie or act indecent if they think the law is watching, but if they know it's just them and God who'll know, we're all libel to do any or all of the above. God is nothing more then the LAW. Believe in God, it's good for society 👍🏻

The ideal is nothing more than a compass meant to scare most people into living in harmony amongst each other. Please believe in God, it's good for society 👍🏼

I got over the edgy atheist phase when I grew past the angsty teen mentality. I still do not believe in a God, but unlike you I have nothing to prove. So.what if others have faith? Faith is not claimed to be reason, and scientists say religious faith is good for people...I lack that faith but am not jealous of their faith, you redditors on some level are imo. You havr not yet come to terms with your lack of faith beyond it being popular to be atheist. Hm. Oh well you are a redditor type, you do not listen to others.

That is true, but He is One, singular, He is self substance, for He did not need anything, but everything need Him, One means He is nothing like any other, He is opposite, now take a look at Hindu's god, they're human and animal like, that makes them not god, for they need hands ( many ) and legs, which god didnt need ( self substance) and they're so many of them's ( more than One ) makes them are not god, and most importantly God created us, we don't create them ( out of anything from this world ) for we are the creation, not the creator

@@shisuiuchiha9101 Please remember you and me we both agree that God is one. So eventually we are talking about that one single power only. We are reaching out to him with diff paths. This specific religion being the oldest religion of the world came up with such expressions of God. In those times humans feared the natural forces & thats why started worship him in the forms of fire, animals, energies and about what you said that Hindu gods have human, animal forms.. When we see them in forms we can establish a bond of friendship, a bond of lover, a mother-child bond. That's makes us feel the LOVE which is the true essence of humanity. Why do you think that Hindus don't eat non-veg? Coz they see it as violence towards other beings. Why do we worship nature be it animals or natural forces? Coz of gratitude. Isn't it innocence. The true, original & purest innocence that God seeded in all human beings. The followers of particular religion won't bow to the god of other religions saying it's against their "God". They won't let followers of other religions live among themselves unless they convert them. Hinduism doesn't say so. We bow to all God's & God's all creatures. We sing prayers, dance, eat and enjoy the blessings of life celebrating the festivals almost all 365 days. I would rest my case saying SEEING GOD IN EVERY FORM, IN EVERYTHING, IN EVERY BEING MADE US THE HUMBLEST. We never invaded any foreign land, never did crusades, we don't convert people of other religions, we don't disgusted followers of other religions, even women are worshipped in this religion. No one can force them to dress any particular way, or marry her in childhood or anything which suffocates their freedom. But if you look into the history only the monotheists did all opposite. So if any religion makes you any less of a human being the whole point of it being a religion shatters. We respect all religions. In my country INDIA all religions have been flourishing since their advent to this land. The point is not what religion you are worshipping.. monotheistic or polytheistic, formed or formless, .. as long as your humanity is intact even if you are an atheist it doesn't matter. What matters is what your religion is making you do.. LOVING or KILLING? LOVE, PEACE, HARMONY is what should be upheld.

Don't generalize, talk about your god only. Only your God is within every being.. Your God is within dung, pigs, dogs and the toilet.. Your God is within humans, meaning that your God is the one who commits theft and rape . As for me, my God is high and free from these superstitions and nonsense that are not worthy of Him.. Almighty and Glory be to Him above what you describe

BTW we don't kill people in the name of religion, we don't force anyone to convert, we never invaded other's lands, we don't say none other but only our God is worth worshiping, we don't radiacalise youth to propagate terrorism, we don't kill the spirit of freedom of thought & interpretation of religion, we don't suffocate women or kill them just coz they deny to wear any particular piece of cloth. In fact in my very above comment I didn't point or said anything bad to any religion. This is what our Religion does.. it raises Humans with humanity. If any less than this any religion does.. we can only feel sorry for them. It's not your fault though.. religion wise yours is still very young and on the contrary ours is the oldest hence most mature that even by worshipping dung & toilets we are not taught to harm other beings. Never intended to harm anyone's belief but Devils on this land should be treated in the manner they deserve. HARE KRISHNA 🙏
