The Subscriber's Jug (the item which bestows the buffs) lasts only 5 hours but the buffs last 2 weeks. The buffs do not get removed due to combat defeat. So there's no need to keep it in your inventory bags after using it. It will disappear on its own in 5 hours, anyway. The Subscriber Town Services item lasts for 2 weeks and must be kept in your bags in order to use it. The quest to pick up these items resets at 3am server time so the quest can be performed every day if desired but there is no extra benefit to doing so more often than once every two weeks.

I'm glad you made a follow up video about this! I was VIP for a long while before I bothered looking at the VIP Rewards vendor, and I wish I had looked at it sooner! One other huge benefit to being a VIP is swift travel between Stable Masters.

Good points, c0wg0d. Note, however, that Stable Master swift travel is one of those things that is "unlocked" by logging in a character while the account is VIP status, the benefit is permanent even if the account later drops to Premium status.

No riding skill is all it's own thing. In game you have to go earn it. But you can also, buy it in the lotro store for cheap early on.

you cant ride anything beyond that super basic mount you get in the beginning unless you become a vip.

I have a question my VIP storage/auction/shop access has disappeared from inventory. I have 3 month subscription only 1 month into it. It was there until 2 days ago.Any suggestions? I did write help.

Having just come back after 11 years, Im not seeing a lot of Value to the VIP system. Town services, permium player housing meh.. Im in towns anyway, I'd much rather have larger or unlimited storage or shared storage etc. Larger wardrobe. With F2P there isn't much incentive to sub, where Im getting something of value rather than just casual convenience

Yes. New F2P is very good. For me VIP I still enjoy. But again, I play alot and want the convince. But this is the time for new players or old to play again with F2P it's fantastic.
