Great video, I found the Spitfire F4 to be unrivalled for me. I use 54mm on mini ramp and 58mm in the bowl and on Vert.

Love the technical discussion videos. I skate a lot of street and parks and I ride 52s. So that’s what I ride in mini ramps. I don’t want to keep 2 setups and get used to 2 setups. I’ve thought of going up to 53s but honestly I’ve realized that for the most part it’s just getting used to whatever you’re riding. There are pros and cons for everything that you’re going to have to get used to

Using softer wheels on a mini has helped me learn boardslides really well because your wheels can't hit the ramp at all!

Excellent review for using the wheels in the mini ramp. My favorite point is when you explain the impact of the differential that the width of the wheels has on the available contact surface of the trucks on cooping. Excellent work as always !

For me, it’s 54 mm 97A bones X formula. Wheels or spitfire radio, full 97 A wheels. Both have enough contact patch for street or ramp in my opinion.

Nice sliding tricks!🔥 I ride Spitfire conical fulls 53mm 99A. Perfect size and hardness for street and miniramps. Now outdoor season is over in Finland so mainly skating dusty indoor parks with plywood. During summer even 101a hardness could be great option. Might try next summer.

I've fallen in love with Powell Peralta Dragon formula wheels since the minute I slapped em on my board. I mostly do old school tricks, especially bertlemann slides, and goddamn no other wheel makes berts feel so clean. I'm getting into learning lip tricks these days so I'm considering their Nano Cubic shape, but 93a Powell Dragon urethane will be with me til my end of days

I ride 56mm (97a or 99a)with an 8.5, drop down to a 54mm (99a or 101a) on a 8.25 or 8.38, and then drop again to a 52mm (101a) on an 8. I have a bunch of different set-ups depending on where and how I plan to skate.

I just found out recently that Tony Hawk rides 60 mil dragons. That changed my perspective that, on massive vert, it works for stability. I'm on 56 black bones wheels, that I love for the look, but I find them harder to powerslide.

Back in the early to mid 90's I had these wheels with a whale on them they were like 52s and the hardness was "forklift compound " they were rock hard....It says right on the wheel... "forklift tire compound the most kickass formula in skateboarding"
@azazelreficulmefistofelicu71582 ай бұрын
Since the 90's Ive been riding hard around 52mm wheels. The harder the better. Spitfire through and through. Unfortunately I skate to and from places in rough sidewalks. Went from small 101s tablets to 99 full conical 56mm to dragon wheels. For my skating and the surfaces I ride on I can't be stopping every ten meters because the rattling is insane so I'm going through a journey of dragons, x97 and the Reynolds "soft" spitfire to see what I like the most. For ramp only, full conical.
