AUVI-Q® (epinephrine injection, USP) is the first and only auto-injector with an auto-retractable needle. In this video, we look at the different components that go into each AUVI-Q device.
Each AUVI-Q device includes various components to aid in the safe delivery of epinephrine during a life-threatening allergic reaction. Explore the different components of AUVI-Q in this video.
The epinephrine injection itself is completed in less than half a second, however users must push firmly and hold the device for a complete 2-second count. AUVI-Q should only be injected into the anterolateral aspect of the thigh, and should not be injected intravenously, or into buttocks, digits, hands, or feet.
AUVI-Q is a prescription medicine used to treat life-threatening allergic reactions. See video for full Indication and Important Safety Information or visit auvi-q.com/important-safety-information.
