This is exactly what I’m looking for! I was looking at creeping phlox and firewitch dianthus but didn’t like the short bloom time for creeping phlox. How do these look during winter? Are they brown?

Depending on where you live they are pretty much evergreen.

We use scissors as we trim ours. If it is too much work you could just let them go, you may not see as much rebloom though

Not all dianthus are perennials. Which dianthus do you have?

@christine Schueneman these are perennials. Be sure to watch the hardiness of the ones you are buying. Also they like well drained soil
