As a Dutch learner, I've learned that it isn't an easy language when it comes to pronunciations. That inspired me to hit the streets and ask native Dutch speakers on what they think the hardest words are to pronounce!

For your short period of time in the Netherlands, you can speak and pronounce the words quite well! This is something that is oftenly very well appreciated by the Dutch. Keep up the good work!:)

Actually, appreciation is only meant for me, not for hum’ns, and such words cannot be misused by others, and drink related terms like dorst also cannot be in someone’s yt name or name etc, and must be changed!

Words that seem longer, like aandeelhoudersovereenkomst, are in fact multiple shorter words put 2gether, so it’s easy to learn them by learning each word the bigger word contains separately, then it is easy to recognize all the shorter words that are in the bigger word - aan - deel + houders + over - een - komst!

Dutch is the easiest language to learn (especially for an English speaker, but also in general) and, Norwegian is almost as easy to learn as Dutch, so I am advanced level in Dutch after only learning it for about 3 or 4 months, plus learning many other languages at the same time - Dutch and English are the prettiest and most refined languages ever (and also Welsh and Norwegian and Swedish etc) with the most pretty and poetic words, which makes the words even easier to memorize, because one tends to remember prettier words faster, so I highly recommend learning Dutch and Norwegian and Welsh etc, and the other Germanic languages and Celtic languages, which are all pretty, and also most Latin languages!

I love how some of them tried to come up with lengthy words that even they struggled with. I think there are a lot of common words that a non-native speaker would struggle with just as much - possibly even more than those scrabble dictionary words. Like schroefdopje (twist-on cap). Or try this one: schraalhans (a mocking word for someone who'd rather starve than spend money on food).

Ui alle woorden met ui er in zoals buiten, huilen, vuil, kuil etc. zijn voor Zweedse mensen moeilijk uit te spreken naast het keel schraap geluid van (s) ch zoals Scheveningen, acht, kracht etc.

Love only exists for me the only lovable being and the only loved being, and my pure protectors aka the alphas are the only beings who can feel love for me only, and reIationships are only meant for us pure beings (me & my protectors) who were blessed with a pure body that doesn’t gx one out and that has a good smeII / no smeIIs aka an enjoyable presence, and were never meant for hum’ns, and such terms that are love related (and other big terms etc) cannot be misused by hum’ns in any way, and must be edited out - one could say that one found it interesting how someone came up with certain terms etc, in such case, instead of saying love etc, and, pronouns can never be with capital letter when referring to oneself or others, and can only be with capital letter when referring to me only!

The food related word pie (in Pierre) and the words al / bal and the special name Tom etc also cannot be in someone’s name, and all unsuitable names must be changed - such terms / names only reflect me & my protectors!

Re Dutch words pronunciation - it is very easy to pronounce Dutch words, once one learns all the pronunciation rules and gets used to them, and I find all those words easy to pronounce, and I know how to pronounce them, even though some of them are new words that I just saw today, because I learned all the pronunciation rules in the beginning (when I first started learning Dutch seriously) and, I am now a quite advanced level in Dutch, and have only been learning it for a few months, and, I learned over 8.000 base words in Dutch, so I can usually tell what most of the longer words mean only because I already know the shorter words that they contain!

I don't know if you still view the comments on this video but here's a couple of words: hottentottententententoonstellingsterrein (this is more a pun and can't really be translated but it would be something like: hotten totten tents exhibition grounds) aansprakelijkheidswaardevaststellingsveranderingen (liability valuation changes) meteorologisch (meteorological) aluminium (seems to be difficult for americans because they say aluminum instead) And the best one although it isn't really Dutch: Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliofobie (this is actually the word for the fear of long words) It's mostly Latin though and therefore the same in English except for "fobie" which just means "phobia".

why this long words., if separating them makes new translation?🤔 my head is more aching now😮‍💨
@rafox66
@rafox66 Жыл бұрын
@@chicxychicx87 It's because in Dutch these are singular words but when translated in English they don't exist as a single word so they get separated. For example, a steam train is a stoomtrein in Dutch. The words are added together into a single word.
