I think the issue with the fry round is they gave them normal fries, but the survey showed actual shoestring fries which are super thin and super crunchy and most people arent gonna choose that over a typical fry texture 😂

Until last year I never knew what home fries were. My boyfriend ordered them at a breakfast place and I said: oh those aren't hashbrowns? As a kid my dad actually made them for us and called them hashbrowns, but he would make them with green & red bell pepper and onion. I've never seen the version he's made anywhere so I'm unsure if it's completely made up but I love that version a lot.

I’ve never thought of shoestring fries to be the same as regular fries like the example they ate here. In the Kroger frozen fries section they have just ‘french fries’ - which look like the kind you get at fast food places - and there are also ‘shoestring fries’ that look much thinner. If the picture on the survey looked thinner than what they ate here I would 100% agree with the results.

I'm baffled by Link's whole thing with the cream filled donuts, and it's also driving me a little crazy, cause to me "cream filled" means custard. Like custard is the cream. If I bite into a donut labeled "cream filled" I expect to taste custard or pudding or some equivalent to that. I had no clue there was apparently another variety of cream that could fill donuts.

I agree. Cream is an actual liquid. I’m confused about where his head was actually at. Even whipped cream has sugar added to it, which would be the only thing that makes sense to me. Injecting heavy cream into a doughnut would just make it a disgusting, mushy, sloppy mess.
