Maude! The representation alone, the respect to Choctaw people given, and the representation of disabled actors and heroes is a HUGE success. I respect your opinions, but maybe you hadn't seen or known the importance this show has for representing a intersectional group of people, and I am very excited for it. Maude is one of the best additions to the team this year! at first i was like "oh great. NR got another while lady for their show". But i have never been so wrong. She isnt just another white lady, she is THEE white lady (and she's upsidedownian so that makes her foreign) the level of energy she brings to each episode pushes thru my laptop screen and into my soul. Deadpool 3 is definitely my top anticipated film by far, followed by Dune 2 and Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. I would also put up here Godzilla X Kong, as well as A Quiet Place 3, and Transformers 1. However, what most intrigues me is none other than the sequel to Twister from 1996 XD hahahaha 2024 is gonna be bananas.

House of the Dragon S2 maybe Acolyte? Don't want to keep my hopes too high for that. Y'all are very optimistic with the Agatha show 😬especially over Echo? I understand the hype for Echo has not been present up until the most recent trailer, but I feel like that did enough for me to get interested. After the last episode of What If… Season 2, I don’t think I’ve been this hyped for the MCU since Endgame or No Way Home. Deadpool 3, The Darkhold Diaries and Echo are easily bursting with excitement for me. Deadpool 3 is easily my most film next year, and I’d argue it’s my most anticipated anything of 2024. Not another film, show or game comes anywhere close to how much hyped I am for that one.

Rebel Moon pt1 had token diversity, made all the straight characters righteous and then the one gay guy was fat, ugly covered in sores, and sexually assaulted someone lol. No science in the fiction, like Star Wars without the whimsy or logic. It's just space nazis but they aren't even racist 😭 2/10 pretty good cgi

20:00 Halo fans were disappointed with them breaking the timeline, and changing a bunch of stuff for the worse. The last couple episodes were kind of good, an early episode was too. It was fitting that Avatar the last air bender was brought up soon after. Halo season one felt like the live action Avatar movie. We don't talk about it, because who was the yes-man 😢 Forward onto Dawn, and Nightfall were neat, but budget constrained. The books are great, and interweave with the games to provide the refresh Star Trek needed. Maybe worth watching those youtube game cinimatics to movies, would be worth it. Playing the games are 💯 worth it, the voice cast did a good job, Keith David is awesome! 24:40 I really enjoyed the Scott pilgrim Netflix anime/cartoon. Should have had 4 stars, at least. You tell him Same with the cowboy bebop release. I had not watched the original Cowboy beepop either. The boys, deadpool, and Agatha are my top 3, lots of other good stuff too. Cautiously optimistic about fallout. They posted a vault door opening teaser, and the tone was perfect.

Honestly, I damn love Halo, I found it fun Master Chief has a face. Engineered massively, but still human underneath him mjolnir armour. It's why he has some hesitation trusting Cortana ai in infinite, he's afraid of loosing her again which is a very human to do. It also makes the hurt so much worse with everything John 117 has gone through.

On the white gloves thing, I've heard somewhere before that artists will do that because it's easier to draw and animate instead of fingers, I think the main example of this is Mickey Mouse but it's possible that informed the design decisions for Mario, Sonic, etc.
