I rode motorcycles for 26 years and toured the western US extensively. I once rode from Long Beach, CA to the south rim of the Grand Canyon and then down to the Wupatki Indian Ruins in 1 day .... over 600 miles. I mention this because I'm reminded that the most vivid memories that our brains retain are those spent overcoming obstacles on our journeys. I have almost no recollection of trips taken where the weather was perfect and the trip uneventful. I have no doubt that you will never forget today's journey nor the pizza and spicy shots. Props to Sara for mastering the art of being a good passenger. As I said, I rode bikes for 26 years but was always too afraid to ride on the back of one :-)

I think Sarah was talking about the Amazon rain forest being disturbed because of the take over of palm tree since so many wonderful benefits the rain forest offers our the environment. As for their camper. That is their home and I think it is unkind to remark on someone homes, but ever one has their point of view. I hope Juan is enjoying the adventure Luca and Sarah are sharing.

When they planted that palm they did not deforest the jungle, it replaced other agricultural resources that were more harmful to the environment, such as livestock, cotton, rice, sugar cane, etc. 4.
