I’m scared to say and admit to my closest friend, my boyfriend and my family, that I feel very alone and unimportant and I have felt this way for 2-3 years now. I am a big people pleaser, I like making other people smile or help them out. At the same time I feel a deep sadness and a sense of not belonging because no one thinks about me, texts me, calls me or asks to see me/hang out. It makes me feel ugly and stupid and unworthy.

Same... It happened that some of my close friends ghosted me /pushed me away/ complained "they had to listen to me for one hour" when I needed help. It was hard for me to be vulnerable with someone else and those reactions really traumatised me and I felt unworthy and weak, I still do. I'm never showing it anymore if I suffer because I am convinced that people exclusively want to be around me if I'm fun /happy/interesting, but most of the time I'm just terrified of everyone.

Now we have to be careful and think twice about letting our kids in daycare for there health. Covid did a 360 on us. I don’t mind me at home with them but my spouse is military and we don’t have much places to go. We’re letting one more year go by to see what happens before we make big decisions. There 3 so by 4 hopefully the state will know what to do. And my kids understand this pandemic

I am in my 40s and have lived through abuse as a child and as an adult. I have always been super ‘successful’ and worked in male dominated industries. I think it’s okay to be afraid of men, be cautious about who you give your mind and your body to. I think our culture normalises violence towards women from the biggest to the smallest ways and that’s not something people tell you or allow you to speak about. There’s a major collective gaslighting around women being equal partners especially when they are kind and genuine. So I do agree if you choose to be single rather and wait for a man who honours you then it’s socially isolating. I wish you the best. The right man will let you take your time and will always treat you like the gem that you are. be grateful when your body tells you it’s fearful, our body holds a lot of wisdom and when you are in a safe environment and with a man who helps to create that safe environment for you your body will know. 🥰

As a non-religious person i fully support your faith and will fight to protect your right to practice it. Just dont threaten me with hell or try to make me miserable for my own faith (atheism is the belief in the non-existence of a higher deity, so its still faith just inverse). Assholes exist in every sector, but those will always find something to criticise you for and their opinions dont matter. Theyre lost souls and they should be left alone to find their way. "Why not, are you busy? You don't have a class or anything." Me: "Yeah Im free but I dont feel like going." "If you dont want to hang out with me just say it, you don't have to make up excuses." As seen in this video, most people are scared of sharing their interests and what they care about or what matters to them. This video is extremely comforting to me as I have always been afraid to share what I like. Probably because I hate the idea of having to defend my interests. For example, when I tell I prefer old songs as opposed to modern hits. I have to further defend my interests saying why I think they are better and why I like them. And yet, they are not considered valid as they are not mainstream or aliging with their intersts. I should not have to defend my interests as long as they don't disrespect others. No one should have to defend. So it is sad how people do not just accept and resort to mockery.

I'm afraid of being lonely, I feel like there'll be a point in my life that I'll be all alone and there will be no one beside me. I don't even stay in my room for this reason. I'm always hanging out downstairs even tho I don't talk to my family lol

Life is so unpredictable, you'll most likely not be alone forever. Especially since that is something you really don't want, you'll be open to loving friendships and find love.

This might not make sense for a while longer, but the person who will always be beside you and there for you is You. Learn to appreciate you and build up the relationship you can rely on.

I feel like I’m kinda great full that I was lonely when I was younger because it really helped me not rely on others and be more independent and what I’m saying is that loneliness isn’t always a bad thing, you’ll always have yourself at then end and that’s all that matters(at least to me)

I'm scared to say that I'm depressed. I'm fairly sure that I am but like the guy who was scared to say he wasn't happy, it makes it real when you say it. I think I also feel that admitting it is a big step to losing myself. I recently admitted it to my mom and it was a very difficult thing to do, but she prayed over me and that helped a LOT.

I love this concept of letting people share their feelings and allowing them to open up. I would much rather open up and share my feelings/fears with a stranger. It’s like therapy with a stranger, I feel no judgment. I never miss a post on this channel or on her podcast.💕 keep up the awesome videos Thoraya. ✌🏻💕

Yes! So many people in society have made sexual orientation/gender/the amount of sex they have their entire identity. I'm fine with you if you're cis or anywhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, but please develop an actual personality so I can actually enjoy being around you.

I think this has been one of my favourite questions you ever asked and favourite responses, especially the ones that weren't sure if what ther were saying even made sense, I was actually really impressed by people's ability to so beautifully express themselves and how they felt cos it's a really hard thing to do.. so proud of every one of you that felt so terrified but still did it anyways 🙌🏾 But yh this made me reflect cos recently I've finally felt able to start looking into and face my darkness, feel through it so I can process and finally release it. Scary af, painful af, intense af but so liberating and strengthening as fuuuuckkk.. being able to let go and surrender going through the depths of the darkness (as opposed to spiralling down out of control into it) and reaching the light.. ah I'm so grateful I've been able to begin this healing process/journey. Thank you for asking this question Thoraya! I've been running from all of these more difficult experiences of coming into myself and aligning with my spirituality, and your videos are great way of feeling connected to people, they way you film is so personal.. ah thank you cos I don't always wanna be around people but connection is so important rn so yeah I'm just grateful for the work you do, it's so impactful, don't know how many lives you've impacted but girl keep doing all you're doing, would love to get to see and know more about the beautiful soul behind the camera (like when you spoke with Sarah and she asked you q's and did some work with you - it was so beautiful and i just remembered how connected if felt to you and your emotions in that video, as I was watching and doing the tapping along with you I could see on your face how I was feeling inside.. AHH anyways looking forward to seeing your other channel 👌🏾❤️

I feel blessed to be in the place i am now, mentally. I did not think this many people are hiding behind things they are scared of. You just have to face your fears head-on with courage. It's not easy, but after facing several fears you will feel a great sense of peace and newfound confidence.

I am scared to 'be true' and to 'tell the truth'. I feel like I always lie to people around me, so to be seen as, maybe, good, loving, kind, sweet, or just to fit in, etc. I tell myself that I lie for good reasons, hence, I always lie and I am scared to tell the truth and to be true, because I always lie to myself. Hi Thoraya, can you please make a video where you tell us about the process that goes behind your filmmaking, 'behind the scenes.'

This channel made me understand that even though each and everyone of us walk through different paths in life, deep inside we all share similar feelings, fears and stories. And I believe if everyone realizes how much we have in common, maybe that's the key to vanish racism and discrimination. Take care dear strangers!

I'm not comfortable throwing my emotions out there without overthinking first. My lived experience has been invalidated so much by my parents and environment in my early life that every time I try to explain how I feel, I shut down because I expect & fear experiencing the same rejection and abandonment I did when I was a little girl
