Constancy, sincerity, authenticity, accountability, trust, love, respect, humor, passion. She nailed it. Everything I need in a partner. Edit: These are qualities that many people desire in a significant other, myself included. But desiring particular traits in a man causes some folks to rave about sexism and equality in relationships and are also assuming my gender based on my comment. OF COURSE couples should be prepared to give as much as they take REGARDLESS of gender. Equality is a vital aspect of a relationship but knowing and asking for what you need in no way means you aren't ready to work your ass off to be the best possible version of yourself. If you merely take instead of give, then you didn't deserve that person and they're better off without you.

I think contentment in the Lord is realizing that you can trust Him to have your best interests at heart. If you are single, you can enjoy your life and live life to the fullest knowing that you are still being held in His perfect hands. If you want to be married, don't give up on that hope, but be content with God's timing by trusting Him. Don't wanna overcomplicate, but I feel that these are all important (and not that easy to have!): - A man with enough grit and perseverance - in relationships when adversity appears, he must be able to stick and solve the problems - that is able to communicate - in the right way. To listen and to talk. - someone with the same core values - which in my case is how he treats others, doesn't discriminate; - someone that already loves himself. self-love is really important, I cannot be the one providing constant reassurance. haha, maybe is my experience, but a man that is just nice, or geeky or funny is not enough really to make a relationship work.

I like how you produced this. The tone of this video was so fluid and it felt very raw and intimate. The way you focus on the person, the serious build up in the music in the background, how you allow them to open themselves up through great questions. Each woman was so unique and you allowed each of them to express their truest selves. Well produced, yet simple. I’m excited to see more of your work. Keep it up!

Nah lol-- heal those parts first on your own. If you can't love and accept certain parts of yourself, its unfair to think someone else will. You deserve to invest time and love into yourself by healing. Whether there's a man in the picture or not. Who knows, You might even meet him in that journey 💫

This is something i've been considering a lot lately and tbh my final answer is: someone who makes my heart beat. Someone who gives me butterflies when i look into his eyes, who can make me smile no matter what mood i am in just by being there, you know? Because in the end of the day, I might find all the qualities I want in someone, but he will never attract me as more than a friend. So I guess somebody who makes me _feel_
@kaylasheppard77464 жыл бұрын
Be careful with this. Because feelings fade. In fact, they are made to fade. The lovey dovey feelings fade after about 2 years. There will be days when he can't make you smile, or he needs you to make him smile. Love is action, not feelings.
@keithsimpson63862 жыл бұрын
@@kaylasheppard7746 Completely agree. Love is absolutely not a feeling. Feelings change too easily for love to be that. I think when the lovey dovey feelings fade is what people call "falling out of love." I'm one to say you were never truly in love to begin with but that's just my opinion.
@guccifairy Жыл бұрын
If anything love is probably the most powerful of all the feelings. It can be both the most beautiful thing to experience when its real and severely painful which is why most people are so afraid to allow themselves to completely fall into it. You have to feel it before you can act on it. If not than whatever actions you are taking in the name of love isn't really love. Honestly the longer your list is the less likeely you are to find it because no one is perfect so there's always at least one thing they would be lacking from the beginning but settle with it because its just one thing. Then from day one you've already doomed your relationship because you're already looking for the imperfections causing a snowball effect. Truly unconditional love is beyond all judgement with no expectations. Its not impossible. I've seen it. I've felt it. The same way you can tell just by a look when someone doesn't like you easily.... teach yourself to recognize what true love looks like when given whole heartedly. If you've never been able to say that you love someone with your entire being then you haven't truly truly experienced it and how can you possibly know how to act on it if you've never felt it? Its simple. Reciprocity. I know the capacity of my love and could never accept anything less. Unconditional love is all you need because everything else like loyalty, honesty, respect, etc.... will fall into place naturally. Even your perception of their physical appearance changes because the feeling is so intensely real and pure that you're not even looking at them physically anymore. Its a soul connection that transcends all things. I can tell you for sure that if you don't think something like that exists then it will definitely never come to you.

As a man I was looking for a woman that I essentially created in my head as this perfect person grown in some lab just for me (sarcasm) I fell in love with and married my wife who is nothing like what I imagined I could only be with and I the same for her. Just these two examples are how opposite we are She's Republican and Catholic I'm Independent/Progressive and an Atheist. We didn't fall in love with a thought, belief, salary, and so on. We fell in love with the complete opposite when we least expected it, because we weren't marking off the imaginary check list. We've been happily married for 6 years and they've been the best 6 years of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
@srishti35793 жыл бұрын
I can relate to almost everything that you wrote except the marriage part...cuz we are still very young. And also...I too had that imaginary perfect partner in my mind that would grow with time which I wanted my future partner to be like at that time...but things turned out differently and I'm very happy with them❤😊. Exactly relatable on that checklist part too that you mentioned. Also, he is an atheist while I believe in god. Good to see people with similar stories around being happy. Thanks for sharing your story❤

For me, honestly is number 1. If you're not honest then there's going to be too many trust issues that are gonna break the relationship. Number 2 would be kindness. Someome who is open hearted and loves helping instead of hurting other people. Number 3 would be someone who can make me laugh! ❤ Also like to add: loyalty. I can't stand cheaters and I personally couldn't do open realtionships.
