@@ProfessorHeatherAustin Professor Heather Austin Hi Heather! Thanks for your quick response. Here's a bit about my background. I've been building and rebuilding computers since i was 15 years old. I got my first computer at 16 and started a computer repair business by the age of 18. After high school i went into long haul delivery services with covenant transport. All the while still repairing computers on the side and in my free time when i wasn't driving across the country. I spent two months training at the advanced school of driving in Fontana, California. After going through the process of getting my hazmat training and certificates i was hired with covenant transport. I delivered goods from furniture to Carpets and beer from as far as California to Florida as well as many deliveries to New York and throughout the country. During this time i was 23 years old and i was not ready to have a sheltered life away from my family. After two years of driving with covenant i realized i could not make a living with that job until about 10 years into my career. At the age of 24 i decided to quit because the upward momentum of that job was slow enough to take me another ten years before i could see a real income. I was paid 25 cents per mile at the time and i was making around $300 every two weeks. As a twenty year old i didn't want to continue with this and realized it wasn't my line of work. I decided to quit and ended up at home again with my parents working on computers once again. I was lucky enough to get a delivery job for a florist in which i was delivering trees, flowers and plants of all sorts to and from las vegas. I eventually got laid off because they were a very small company and just couldn't keep up with the amount of business they had coming to them. At the time there were only two employees. Myself and one older man driving for them. They eventually laid me off and i was depressed so much and filled with anger at my opportunities that i landed myself back in my bedroom and on my computer again. Computer repair wasn't a very fruitfull job and one day i was in a chat room in IRC. Back then that was your " facebook " or " myspace " . IRC stands for internet relay chat. During that time i had some friends who had sent me some credit cards that weren't theirs. I kept them on my computer for a while considering what i could do with them. I never used them but eventually the secret service found out that i had these cards in my computer and they quickly raided my house and i was arrested for having more than 10 credit cards on my computer. I went to prison at the age of 28. I was caught when i was 25 years old and at the time had no ambition or anything and i was very depressed but before i could get a chance at life again i was arrested as i said. They waited until a specific law was passed that said if you have 10 or more credit cards in your computer that aren't yours then you will do time. So they waited and finally got me and i went to court for two years until i finally was sentenced to two years in prison. I did 18 months in a federal prison in oregon and soon was released to a halfway house and then probation until i turned 32 years old. I haven't had any serious work experience except delivery jobs and computer repair. My real passion is technology. I love technology, i can repair any system and i've also networked hundreds of different computers for many different companies. The business dried up here in the desert because we live in a small area of riverside county. So after probation i've tried to get a job for the past eight years. I'm now 37 years old and i'm going to be homeless by next wednesday. My parents are moving to washington and i'm off to los angeles. I've tried to get jobs but no one will hire me because of my felony. I've had quite a bit of work experience. I can send you my resume but it's all before my felony. Now here i am trying to figure out what i'm going to do next. There is quite a bit more to this story you can imagine but that's the jist of it.
@AllisonMagicElite5 жыл бұрын
At this point i'm considering starting my computer repair business again in orange county rather than los angeles because the people are very nice there and not much racism. But i need a place to live and support myself and i'm going to get a ride from my mom to the welfare office to see if i can get some sort of housing while i'm there. I have a great resume but it's missing about ten years of work history. I feel like my life is over and i have no chance. No one trusts me anymore because of my felony and since i'm also black they stereotype me and it makes it very difficult to get into the work force again. I'm doing everything i can to better myself. I've been watching motivational videos and going to therapy and taking some medications to help with my depression but with my specific situation it's hard not to be depressed. I feel like i have nothing left and i'm already 37 with no life and i feel like a complete loser.
@AllisonMagicElite5 жыл бұрын
Also this is very tough for me because i haven't seriously done any real interviews or anything. If i have then i've completely failed. I started a successful forex trading business and i was doing well until trump was elected and fear struck the markets. Since no one wants to add volume into the markets, i've been out of business. No one wants to buy my software since there are no trades happening. My software works based on volatility in the markets. I've been learning foreign exchange trading, economics and banking for the past 8 years that i've lived with my parents. I've gotten very much experienced and i have lots of knowledge in technology and economics and trading. I designed my own software but i had to shut my website down due to the fact that i couldn't afford to keep it up. I'm also in the process of reuploading my youtube videos to my channel since youtube is hiding my videos for some weird reason. My company is The AssarV10 Team and you can find me by doing a google search for assarofficial.com. My site is down like i said but i am very knowledgeable in these matters as well as IT. i never finished college. i'm compltely self taught.
The music is very annoying and distract the attention
