I came across a FedEx employee today while delivering and we compared vans and the work load. He only had 128 stops and none were grouped. I had 180 stops, all of which were grouped with over 400 packages. I’m applying for FedEx immediately. FedEx may have packages up to 150 pounds but it’s rare. Amazon isn’t unionized and doesn’t care about the employees at all.

Another thing is I unload the current tote that I’m pulling from and put it in my passenger seat and sort the envelopes by number. I never pull from a tote. I'm in cycle 2 unfortunately and I had 31 stops with 34 parcels today 🥴 Don't worry about the vid not being an accurate representation of peak. Gotta appreciate the semi easy days lol. All the best out there bro

WAIT WAIT CHRIS, did you go to fresh on the clock ? I’ve always wanted to stop somewhere on way back or something haha , my dsp EXTREMELY chill like yours seems and low package count peak. So you think they’d be okay with it ?

Um yeah, his DSP is chill ... Most DSPs won't allow you to take your breaks or lunch at the end of the day 😢

I have a couple questions what is Amazon Small parcel delivery?. What company do you think it Is best to go with ? Amazon , FedEx or UPS?.

I live in an apartment. It always feels good when you meet the driver at the bottom of the stairs, and if they need ID have it ready in your hand to show them. I usually need to tell them my ID will play funny with their app because I'm 25 (24 or 26 is fine lol)... Ye, I don't envy Amazon drivers this time of year.

The hardest thing about peak for me is just the time of year. It’s cold, it dark earlier, it’s the holidays, and you’re out busting your ass into the night to make sure everyone gets their stuff. It was gratifying but in most industries (other than retail and maybe food) stuff pretty much shuts down for the holidays and everyone understands it’s going to be a slower period from thanksgiving to Christmas. So going from chilling around the holidays to having my hardest days be right during the holidays, just mentally took it out of me. It made me actually enjoy my holidays less, I was dreading them the closer they got because the pace just kept going up. Glad I don’t deliver anymore honestly 😅
