the fact that Amazon allows him to post these is wild because Im pretty sure we arent allowed to record ourselves working at all, unless allowed

🚩I worked my first day yesterday delivering and let me tell you, these videos are definitely a simplified version of what you really do. Firstly, they had me deliver out in the sticks ( 1 ft of snow out there) my entire shift, I had to hold my bladder from 11am-10pm because I was nowhere near civilization. I took my lunch when I was waiting for my DSP to come tow me out of snow because I got stuck. The owner chewed me out and said I’ll be fired if it happens again. It was their damn GPS that told me to go there! So let’s keep going. I don’t have my boots yet so I’m wearing plastic bags in my shoes to keep my feet “dry”. My shoes were soaked within the first 30 minutes of delivering. I had to park on a road where I had to cross and was nearly hit by a car. I’ve fell in a few ditches trying to get out on the safe side of the road, slipped on ice numerous times while hauling boxes uphill on driveways that are extremely long unplowed and at night …when it’s extremely dark. If it’s dark, your camera won’t focus correctly and you get blurry shots (which you will get in trouble for). I could keep going but my blood is boiling just thinking about what hell it really is. Chris Sing, I still enjoy your videos! Not bashing you, just the job. I’d love to see how you handle the situations I’ve dealt with. I’d love some tips!! ETA: I also had to get in a stranger’s car and have them drive me up their long unplowed driveway to their house just so I could scan their packages. 🤦🏼♀️

Thank you to the Amazon workers in Prime delivery people in third party drivers to bring us to products and make our lives so much easier. I'm disabled if it wasn't for Walmart and home delivery in Amazon and their hard workers I would be struggling very bad just to get Basic Foods and needed items

If you can’t multitask nothing is gonna help you. Simple truth. I have a class A cdl and never had an accident n I’m telling you the ability to multitask is the key. Plus common sense. Which isn’t so common anymore. They pass almost anyone for a normal class D license now. My test was drive out of the parking lot, make a u-turn, pull back into the dmv and you have “2” damn tries to park it lol. A car. Anyways, best advice from is to be observant. Check mirrors frequently. If unsure while backing , get out and look. Mirrors are key.

my brother worked in one of the distribution centers and I remember him telling me sometimes they found old packages that had fallen under the conveyor rollers (small bagged ones) cause they were so thin they could fit and fall thru and be hidden under there and lost. so sorry to whoever was supposed to get whatever that was.

People actually think they are doing something good by being an Amazon delivery driver, all it is doing is creating more consumerism waste, most of the shit on amazon will be in a landfill in the next few years as it's mostly cheap Chinese plastic worthless shit. Americans need a reality check on overspending. Hopefully tariffs will curb excessive and unnecessary spending.
@nickp53563 күн бұрын
I am surprised they don't put toilets on these fucking trucks, there is no way in hell anybody in their right mind thinks holding your urine or fecal matter for extended periods is normal or ok, all for a few hundred bucks, there is a reason that it wants to come out!
