The GMC Syclone had a turbocharged 4.3-liter V-6 that produced 280 horsepower at 4400 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. But I guess in 2024, Ford can't build a more powerful "sport" truck than a GM truck from the 90s. I guess it's more important to put a big screen on the dash instead of a high output engine under the hood. It would be better to call it a luxury Maverick.

@@maurosgarage The curb weight of the 1991 GMC Syclone 4.3L V6 4WD was 1632 kg or 3597.94 lbs. The 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo will be approximately 3,700 lbs. So more horsepower and less weight for the Syclone means a better power to weight ratio. There is a thing called the internet that you can connect to with your cellphone and "fact check" information before posting random comments.

Me and about 6 of my friends learned not to buy ANY extended warranty. They find the slightest little reason to NOT fix your vehicle.

In my experience Subaru manufacturer extended warranty and Ram Manufacturer extended warranty are good. They never rejected me for anything. Even when my Ram’s fuel pump went out about 4k miles past my warranty I made a call to FCA customer service and got them to cover it.

In Mexico, Lobo is the higher trim models of the F150, and the F150 is the lower work truck from the XLT down.

all you people complaining about the granger warranty ads are idiots. TFL needs to make money and at least they are advertising a manufacturer extended warranty and not some 3 rd party crap one. the ones sold by granger are backed by ford/mopar and just extend the factory ones you get on your new car/truck.

LOBO name it’s used in Mexico for the F150 and it’s not a performance package. In Mexico if buy a Lariat and above trim the truck is called LOBO. So the F150 name is replaced on those trims by the LOBO name. Below lariat their just XLs and XLTs F150.

Lobo is actually the higher trim level models of the F150 & f150 is from the XLT trim down.

They will add more power eventually. You know how this stuff goes, first the new models, then some trim and entertainment add ons, then some interior mods, then maybe a power upgrade. Ford isn't going to blow their load in the first year of a new design package/model like the Lobo.

Like how the ford guy side steps all the questions, rear diff is the same as tremor, tuned different but still the same, performance steering, they pulled it out of the European escape. I know when I hear escape, I think performance.🤣

ST-Line... Sucks they didnt do a real performance full ST trim. With fancy bells inside. And better body/areo kit. Who wants to drop 40+k and throw their warranty out to tune it and exhaust.

I am sick of black, nothing like black leather seats when the outside temp is 104. Grey always looks cheap to me. Happy they are trying something different.

With all the big screens and tech in these vehicles that are sure to break down? I’ll roll the dice with the extended warranty, because that fancy stuff is going to fail.
