Betty White was a joy to watch and in a way go into her house for the laughs . She was truly one of the few people who has passed that truly gave to others what she gave to each of us who watched her films including Golden Girls . It was when Dorothy got married and moved to Atlanta , GA that the show Golden Girls ended and anew one was created . They gave birth to the show "The Golden Palace " in which they purchased a motel in Miami that came with a black desk clerk , a roughly aged 10 year old black little boy and the big one was Cheach of Cheach & Chong where the duo of C & C were , years ago , were drug heads for marijuana and did at least 1 record ( before cd's ) . The one song I remember is Basket Ball Jones . When they put him in the cast at first I was a little confused about the connection in the shoe but it all worked . He was there to fight with Sophia so she wouldn't miss Dorothy so much then he became Sophia's " adopted son " . But the best shows of The Golden Palace was I think one of the first shows . I think they were getting robbed and Betty White was told to call the police / 911 . She dialed the operater asking what's the number for 911 ? She was a great comedian , actress , singer / piano / dancer and more but I feel that some of her most giving times was the animal activist . She was so passionate about animals of all kinds including Wales and dolphins , etc . What Ms. Betty White did ( not including her acting accomplishments ) , was so much more than what 10 people could have done in their whole life . Not many people could do the schedule that she carried and did . Ms. Betty White will forever stand with all those people through time that deserved the title of " Greatest " . In that tittle , there may never be another to be so blessed and loved by all . She deserves to take a vacation / to rip . Betty White , thank you for being our friend , and in some cases a mother or a grandmother . RIP Betty White .

She probably wasn't. She may have simply died from old age. My great ma died at 96 the same way. Her body began to give out but nothing was physically wrong. Just time to go on. She passed peacefully and I believe Betty did too.

Who doesn't everbody love Betty White? Betty was a Unitarian, believing that we should, "affirm unconditional, universal love as a foundation and grounding for our actions in the world." Unitarians believe in God, but reject the idea of eternal punishment. My mother, who was likewise Unitarian, reminds me of Betty White (or is it the other way around?). Both women believed that people who do evil things become their own punishment. Yet, does that really work? For example, I am not sure why, but I am still absolutely devastated over the death of young girl, Polly Klaas, some 30 years ago - yet, I have only seen her picture. She was kidnapped out her own bedroom, brutally mistreated, then murdered. The killer, Richard Allen Davis, laughed at her trial, at the suffering of her dear, poor parents - heart-breaking is not the word! Yet, should such great evil go unpunished? Is that true justice? It is written that, one day soon, Jesus Christ will judge the world in righteousness. Just as my anger has been greatly kindled by Davis, so God's anger is good and right; all injustice will be punished. For those who disagree, do you believe the Richard Allen Davis should not be punished? For example, should he have life in a paradise resort? Such thinking is almost as vile as his dispicable act! Yet, God will not just punish those who destroy families, but it is written that all liars will have their place in the lake of fire. Heaven is totally just; we are not. Jesus Christ died on a cross as punishment for the sins of the world - even for sweet, charming ladies like Betty! I hope that she put her trust in Christ, that she was made new - born again - by the blood Christ! I hope that everyone will! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Not really. Most media outlets have memorial videos ready to go for beloved people - and Betty was adored by so many. She was so old, it would have weird if they didn't have something in the vault, ready to be used. The BBC has an annual practice run of announcing the queen's death, and have for many years.
