I'm a rabbit chaser. I will start reading a book and something will jump out at me that starts me on a search. I used to be able to read the Bible through, generally underlining or highlighting something that stood out to me. But, as I started getting more personal with God's Word, I found that I have now become a topical person. This includes lineages, lately. I have a One Year Chronological Bible that I may or may not ever get through! But I love, love, love His Word!!!

I don’t know why but I get so teary eyed when I watch your videos. Maybe it’s me finding sisters in Christ for even when I’m hiding from the Bible because I am afraid of change but want to learn change mind body and spirit. I’m so tired of hiding and don’t know how to do Bible studies on my own😊😊

Just signed up for the boot camp. Feels like an answered prayer. I’m a new mom and working from home while looking after my family. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough time and have no structure too. I feel like this will help me so much and provide structure too. I also always feel like I lack great thoughts to share about the Bible when surrounded by people who have done theology classes. I get lost and don’t understand what they are saying sometimes. I pray that this brings me closer to Christ and also gives me knowledge about Him.♥️ Very grateful, Thank you.

I'm so glad you posted this video. I'm not sure I have the words to describe how much it encouraged me today. 🥲 I so often feel like I'm not reading enough, I'm not studying enough, I'm not paying attention when I do read. But when you said people wouldn't even be interested in reading the scripture at all if God didn't put the desire in their heart to do it, I began to weep. 😭 I will continue to strive to improve but in the meantime will rest in knowing that God is ever drawing me.

I’ve just recently started to read the Bible and dive into spirituality and faith. I have history as a Catholic so this isn’t completely new to me, but really most of my adult life I haven’t been living faith. I started at the front, Genesis. My plan is to read front to back. This is just to absorb what I can, then plan to do Bible study. In just over 2 months I’m just over 30% through. Not understanding necessarily everything but definitely still curious and learning.

I have tried several "read through the Bible in a year" plans over the years and failed because I got off track or felt like I was reading without understanding. I really wanted to find a way to approach reading the Bible that would keep me going so I did two things, took away the timeline and started with the shortest books( can you tell I have done Dave Ramsey's baby steps? Lol). I have learned so much by just getting in God's word and reading these books that I haven't necessarily ever studied. It has given me the drive to keep going as I check off the books on my list, while taking time to really understand what I am reading. I never expected to enjoy the Minor Prophets as much as I do.
