For $1,100 its tough to get something nice in new york city. But per person there is no cheaper New York city apartment than this 3 bedroom 3 bathroom which is $3300 total, and has a private deck! The building also has laundry and roof access, and its not too far from Manhattan new york city. Would you rent this cheap sunset park brooklyn apartment to get your feet planted in New York City? Let me know what you think of this NYC Apartment tour.

I have never been a fan of long skinny apartments, but this one wasn't too bad. Each br having it's own full bath is a big plus. You're not going to be having guests over much. "Hey! Want to come hang out in my wide hallway living room?"

That’s the 72nd Police Precinct... It was 1976 and it was my first and only time inside of one. That’s all this Grandma is saying about that! That’s actually the “Gowanus” Expressway a.k.a. I-278! I lived at 289 Prospect Park West (18th St & 9th Ave) which is directly across the street from the Gowanus for 14 years. Yes, it is definitely noisy! But you would be extremely surprised how fast you’d become accustomed to it! I really like that building, it renovated, clean and in a fabulous location. Back in the 70s that neighborhood was entirely industrial and at night... The ladies came out! Yes, those “Ladies”! 🙈

KUDOS to the Landlord! That's a very well done renovation of the entire building, BUT alas... no historic character remaining, and that bothers me a bit along with it being so far from Manhattan proper. Sadly, the area is becoming extremely gentrified so the rent was increased under a new owner by 30% so of course she had to move. Overall, the area is nice now but definitely it is something to note.

The long ride here is because he left from Queens (Astoria) and went southish in Brooklyn (Sunset Park). I just spent two hours watching your channel. I like that you focus on affordability. I lived all over the Lower East Side. My smallest was in a carriage house behind 15 Stanton Street, a 185-sf studio for $925 (this was 2003). It had a secluded (but not private) courtyard. But my favorite was in "Two Bridges" at Market and Madison. The Manhattan Bridge was 100 feet away, trains would rumble the entire building. Top floor so the bathroom had a skylight. Owners cut a hole in a wall to make a tiny bedroom with an awkward door placement into more of an alcove. That one was $1800. Left NYC in 2010 for my native midwest, we quadrupled the size for half the rent, but we miss NYC dearly.

That apartment was specifically made for roommates. That "livingroom" only needs a dining table. Each person can put a tv in their room. Nice place if you don't mind living with other people. Would love to see apartments $2000 and under in Manhattan/Queens suitable for one person.

I like this apt. I'd have 2 people and make the first bedroom the livingroom. and Have a long skinny table in the kitchen. for both to work or eat at. The balcony is VERY nice, and pvt. No one would actually see you, and that's a major plus. That place will rent quick I believe.

First of all, Cashew, I don't want sound harsh, but we've been over this "walk-in closet" thing a million times. A walk-in closet is not something you can simply fit your body into. It is a closet that is spacious enough to get dressed in, and usually has two sides of hanging space. There, I've said it again. You Swedes are so stubborn! Now, I watched this video twice, and I have mixed feelings. While I love the ensuite bathroom aspect, I don't think I could dine al fresco on the patio with all those trucks passing by, nor do I want to look out my bedroom window at a perpetual view of company signage that feels it has to PULSATE its name as well as display it in a ginormous sign. GRAINGER GRAINGER WILL ROBINSON! This is a no from me I'm afraid.

Sorry @Major Cynic - I actually thought you were being satirical, not serious, so I treated your comment lightly- so sorry if my joke offended you!😕

@@amish-landchateau I am totally satirical. OMG. I've been commenting like this for over a year. In fact, I've complained of not enough closet space to hang up all my ball gowns.
