Expert Mrs Donna is good for motivating people to change their bad habits of spending to better habits of savings. She does push advisors but considering her main target audience are people that have made bad financial decisions using an advisor although cost money might help them avoid bad decisions when it comes to investing too. The most important part is trading early for a long time and not panicking, Being too conservative can hurt your returns as well

I consider going to New York at night, maybe to a club or bar but that means a lot more money. Food and drinks eating out in New York I imagine means business, especially when you don't drive and need to pay for cabs/ride-sharing. Going to a real nightclub is probably something for rich people 😭

The American tipping system still amazes me... I've been working in the hospitality industry (anywhere from a dive bar to a Michelin star rated restaurant) in the Netherlands for over 15 years now and I still, to this day, would not pay an additional $2 for someone to open up a bottle of beer and hand it to me. I am aware that hourly rates differ greatly comapred to European wages, but the European standards when it comes to service (imo what you should be feeling the desire to tip for, not feel forced to do so) can differ tremendously compared to US service. I wouldn't tip on a waiter/waitress with cranky appearance in the EU, and I won't do it in the US...
@enriqueavalos2 жыл бұрын
the idea is to incentivize GOOD service. explains why Europe has terrible customer service and rude waiters: no tips.
@stevepotfora7461 Жыл бұрын
In the United States tipping is part of the price of going out. Do not even think of it as related to service, though it could be if you get good service.. It is simply the price you pay for using the service. If you do not want to pay the extra 20% simply do not go out.
